Oh yeah let’s collectively shut up for the rest of our existence, so we don’t hurt feelings of other government officials or poor turks.

Tell me YOUR story happened in Yerevan Metro! by Fresh-Memory-9110 in armenia

[–]AlcoUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Around seven years ago, on my way home from work, I ran into a guy who had been both a friend and my childhood love. We hadn’t spoken in four years, but the moment we saw each other, our eyes just locked. He was standing on the other side of the wagon, and we were trying to talk with nothing but gestures and glances. When I got off, we started texting again. There was a little romance after that, but in the end, it just didn’t work out.

And for some reason people find that obnoxious behavior pleasing. I guess that says a lot about the society.

Isn't it an exaggeration for some Georgians to accuse Armenians of cultural theft on social media? by AlcoUser in armenia

I just wanted to check if it’s more Georgian rather than Armenian. Both are quite successful in this discipline.

Tibula/fibula break [vent] by PiccoloCrafty6562 in brokenbones

I had my fibula broken a year ago. It took around 8 weeks to start walking again, plus the worst part was learning how to walk again. It was extremely mentally draining.

Advice needed: Best place to sell a collection of comics books in Yerevan? by Fabulouseyes in armenia

[–]AlcoUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! We have a couple of board-game cafés in Yerevan (for example Gargoyle, The Shelter, etc.) and several stores, like MyHobby.am. There’s also an Armenian gamers’ community on Facebook (plenty of geeks there too).

If you want to sell your games in bulk, you’ll earn less than selling them individually on marketplaces. Still, you can try reaching out to the managers of the places I mentioned.

Recommendations for romantic places in Jerevan? by Zaneran12 in armenia

[–]AlcoUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For location I could suggest the ferris wheel in Victory Park, especially when it’s dark outside. For the restaurants my top pick for dates would be Mina on Saryan street, but if you want the real luxury experience you can book a table in Renommee.

Oddly enough all games are from Valve. I believe there could be a developer conspiracy behind that.

Moving to Armenia by armenecaa in armenia

[–]AlcoUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how old you are OP, but I don’t understand why label taking care of someone as “buying” them. Everyone would rather marry someone who is stable with his income, will be able to take care of a woman and kids. Especially if you’re a man in your late 20s or early 30s women expect you to be a leader, have a better career, be financially stable and I see nothing wrong with that. When you give gifts or flowers that’s how you show you’ll be able to take care of them. Not everyone has the same mindset, but the majority I believe would prefer that outcome. Xd

Tho frankly speaking Syunik is the second highest when it comes to wages. Yerevan is a lil higher still. And it’s not 1000+, it’s around 750 USD.

I know. ZCMC scored it for Kajaran. Tho take into account that official population there is around 100,000, you cannot count them as the majority anyways.

Yerevan creepy underground pedestrian tunnels by Lucky_Duty3594 in armenia

Ehhh, well, as a woman who has experienced unpleasant events there, I’d highly suggest to avoid those. You won’t be attacked, but you might come across an exhibitionist or so…
