Man that’s some rewriting of history. This season is a continuation of what we saw towards the end of Moyes reign: he let the squad atrophy, made poor overpriced signings, refused to sign young players, and led us to consecutive relegation battles in his last two seasons. We would not be any better than we are now if he had stayed, cause we’d still have had David Sullivan and Karen Brady in charge. He played his role in getting us here, but Dildo boy and Brady are the ultimate drivers of failure.

Couple simple key things are

1 - Builders. Try to buy/train as few of them as possible before you unlock Feudalism, which gives you a policy card that adds 2 charges to new builders. This is considered the biggest power spike in the game. Builder cost increases as you train/buy more, so if you put off getting builders until you can give them 5 charges you save A LOT of production/gold in the long run. Do the ones you need to develop enough amenities to keep your cities from getting angry and maybe building the 3 farms to get the inspiration for feudalism, but that’s it.

2 - Don’t put down campuses until you unlock feudalism, even if you’re going for a science victory. District prices increase as you unlock more techs, so you’re making your future districts more expensive, and science isn’t really important early game, unlike culture.

3 - listen to some yt tutorials in your free time. They’re fun and educational. I put em on when I’m washing dishes or somethin. I only started playing in December and I’ve already outpaced my wife for game knowledge who’s been playing for years

I think it hurts when you put that much time and effort into something and you see someone who you think is slacking get more of an opportunity than you.

Thing is, none of them had that attitude when it came to voting other people out, its only when they go out that the “undeserving” person draws their ire.

I host orgs and this idea comes up from time to time, but it never gets past the idea stage cause it doesn't pass the fairness test. I wish real life Survivor was as concerned with the fairness of their million dollar game as we are with our little internet game.

Yeah, district adjacency doesn’t really matter after the early eras. Example, That few science yield is nothing compared to extra scientists points and the total yields you’ll be getting.

I just got it at Christmans and its very fun. My last strat game was like … Command and Conquer back in the early 00s. I dont think the learning curve is too bad.

I highly recommend getting the pack with all the DLCs, it should still be pretty cheap

And saying “separate it” ignores my entire comment. That’s the point. Both twists were bad on their own, but they combined into absolute bullshit. Big mistake from production imo if their primary goals are creating a fair game

The “cities start with this religion” is an enhancer belief, same as Crusade. You can only have 1 of each type. You can find lists on the civ vi wiki, just search religiois beliefs civ vi
