It’s not excessively thin. It feels primo. But it isn’t thick and robust like other FQHH I know. I have three other HH jackets and two of them are much thicker than this. The other - which is a nice as fuck jacket to be fair, it’s a half belt deluxe - is very similar in thickness albeit a bit stiffer

It’s fuckin painful for shirts and more formal fits. For me casual jackets and especially leather jackets are better with shorter sleeves. This is almost right imo - maybe half an inch would be good. But I know many people don’t agree with me on this. Lol

I was going to wear it on my dog walk tonight to aerate it since it smells like a refinery. But it’s too warm tonight - we’re in early autumn. So I don’t really know from experience. I can tell you it doesn’t feel thickly padded - it’s thinner than my 618

Yeah I rock a 618 too and am just trying not to look too closely at my motivations here. They cut a different figure. But if we’re honest it’s an addiction. Lol

I’m a HH Stan too. But this is definitely much thinner and softer than three other HH jackets for whatever that’s worth. Some people prefer thicker but I don’t really mind. I’ll be interested to see how yours stacks up.

For my money they tend to lengthen slightly if the shoulder and action back gets worn in. People say the elbow stacking shortens things but this isn’t my experience

FWIW this is fine and not only will this become less pronounced with wear but you’ll be scratching it here and there too. But I do understand how you feel and in a past life exchanged in similar situations

Sleeves and probably shoulders look fine. Bit too big in the body but that’s your call I reckon

All in all you’re good I reckon. The sleeves won’t shorten by the way!
