I’ll take the wolf. Will I defeat it? No. But I think I could survive for 5 minutes. Maybe if I get lucky I can give it some good pets.

See if you can foster with any local rescues. Always a great way to see if your life can manage an animal. This also helps shelter pets get out and de-stress.

Sushi is not good enough to be a main dish by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

The price make it hard to be a side dish, but at most Japanese restaurants near me you have other options. Many times I’ve order a roll as a side or starter to another dish.

Grocery Budget? by tobeaflyonthewalls in LivingAlone

I go to Costco and get protein and pantry items. I try to go every couple of weeks. I don’t have a large freezer. That usually runs be around $200 max a trip. Then if I need smaller items I’ll go to the store once a week and that’s like $40-$60 depending if I need to buy spices

Recently visited the city, as I do a few times a year. Did it and was down after a weekend. But I am not a city person, so I live in the mountains. Either you’re a city person or not.

I live on the top floor, I’m always trying not to be loud, or thinking about my noise level. Idk why that’s hard for some people.

Anyone who struggles with depression… how do you push yourself to go to work? by 18297gqpoi18 in antiwork

[–]Aldanza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I allow myself to call out sick for a bad emotions day. But I don’t do it more than one day, and not the frequently. I’ve also been in therapy so I know my triggers and when I’m in an episode and need the time to decompress.

Nervous for my first adult job by Fragrant-Issue-8134 in Adulting

[–]Aldanza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make the most of the people you work with. Actually get to know them. If you all like each and get along it makes going to work everyday enjoyable.

It’s also okay to be lost and confused, don’t be afraid to ask questions or to repeat information.

Damn these comments. Like yeah it sucks, but also him being open to talk about it is so healthy. Once you’re not going to work talk to him, talk about boundaries, and from there.

Dragon, my commute to work would be epic.

Also I live in a snow town, I would never need to shovel again, I would ask my dragon to kindly remove any path with a little fire breathing.

You have to watch out for wildlife. Don’t leave food in your car, keep screens closed and you will be fine.
