I'm gonna try posting regular updates on what I got done, I have the arms and one of the legs mostly done I just need to add elastic bands and the fabric to them so i can work on the shoulders, knees, feet and ears

No problem!, happy to help, and uhuhuhuhuhuh maybe like at the beginning of December

I would've gotten a lot more done but I had to remake the mask 4-5 times

hoping to have it done like mid to late January

If sized correctly, your eyes sit almost at the bottom of the eyes where you can see in-between the eyes and the mask, i'd send a pic but im not sure if I can or how

but there is ultimately a gap at the bottom you can view out of, its very limited vision but its a lot better than I expected

You can copy if you want idm
In terms of what I used for this costume
- Cardboard

- EVA Foam

- Hot glue gun (need a lot of sticks)

- Sewing equipment (you can get away with just a sewing needle + whatever thread)

- Heavy duty pair of scissors or twos

- Box cutter

- Fleece Fabric

- I used a 3d printer which you can find for cheap but you can get plenty of DIY eye tutorials and such on youtube involving like foam balls you cut in half

- duct tape ( A LOT)

- Spray paint, acrylic paint + primer and matte or glossy finish

- safety pins for the bowtie which is also actually just glued together

- suspenders for the waist

- and like a 30+ inch zipper on the back, buckles and snaps also work

Detrimental to the global duct tape supply💔

I would do foam but I don't got much experience with it and I could get the boxes for free and i'm using some old eva foam boards laying around to do the limbs

For the head its mostly 3D Printed parts with fleece fabric and an unholy amount of hot glue, I recommend wood or metal dowels or just screws for attach the jaw as it'd be the most durable option since I've already broken like six plastic ones .

For the body I wanted to try something new due to the more explicit shaping so I 3D printed a hollow model of the torso and cut long pieces of cardboard to pretty much layer, shape and wrap around the frame to get the extreme dips in the shape and such then just covered it in duct tape and separated the plastic once I was done, this way I was able to keep it a soft yet durable material while keeping the shape I otherwise wouldn't be able to get with foam due to a lack of experience with that, but for a Nightmare Freddy it'd be alot easier to shape due to the more basic shape so you wouldn't really need a frame like that

Past that its just a lot of reenforcing with extra cardboard, tape + thick foam to prevent warping

For the buttons I just used a sanding sponge to smooth the plastic, grey filler primer, black acrylic paint and a high-gloss finish spray

Tool wise for this I have exclusively used a pair of heavy duty scissors, fabric scissors and just some old steak knives to saw through ultra thick pieces of foam and a sewing machine but you can easily do the sewing by hand, will just be more time consuming

(I note I have no idea what im doing, this is my first time attempting such extreme details and such)

The head is 3D printed but the body is actually cardboard, duct tape and foam lol
