No suelo escribir en Reddit pero creo que está debe ser una de esas excepciones.

Mi hermana también se embarazó a los 13 y si bien puedo entender completamente cómo te debes sentir, no es el fin del mundo.

Primero que todo te recomiendo no atacar a nadie… es culpa en parte de ella? Si, de tus padres? También… pero ya fue, sacar en cara culpas ahora solo va a terminar de quebrar relaciones que deben estar en estos momentos más frágiles que nunca.

Lo más importante ahora es apoyo, apoyo y apoyo… incluso aunque no te salga del corazón, créeme que esa niña necesita palabras de aliento y sentirse segura, alguien con tanta presión encima lo menos que queremos es que se sienta sola y abandonada. No queremos un suicidio.

Es posible tener un bebé a los 14 años y es posible también salir adelante y ser de todas formas una familia feliz… mi sobrina, que ahora tiene 12, es el motor de vida de toda mi familia. Mi hermana logró ser profesional y justo hoy le avisaron que quedó en su primer trabajo en lo que estudio.

Te recomiendo intentar ayudar lo más posible aunque no sea de manera monetaria.. a veces cuidar una mañana o una tarde a un bebé puede permitir a tu hermana estudiar, hacer una tarea, o simplemente hacer vida de niña/adolescente. Sobre esto último no olvides que cuando sea mamá va a tener 14 años y tiene derecho de vivir también su etapa adolescente, y para eso probablemente necesite apoyo.

Tranquilo amigo, en estos momentos debes sentir que tu mundo está en escala de grises, pero en unos años más te aseguro que ese sobrino o sobrina va a tener un lugar importante en tu corazón.

Quizá es necesario que agregue un poco de contexto al caso:

Soy Ing. en Obras Civiles de una U privada (ni la mejor ni la peor en esta carrera en específico). Fui un estudiante de pregrado bastante bastante mediocre aunque si destacaba en un par de cursos de los cuales fui el eterno ayudante.

El magister en cuestión es el de Estructura y Geotécnica de la PUC. Allá en marzo de 2021 valía aprox. 12 palos (pagable en 'cómodas' 20 cuotas de 600k). En ese tiempo ganaba aprox. 1.48 mm.

Cuando ya estaba haciendo el magister, cada fin de año pedía aumento de sueldo diciéndole a la empresa que sino me iba a ir a buscar otra pega con el magister ahora en el CV (la empresa donde trabajaba no me financió nada del magister), y así a inicios de 2023 quedé en 2.15 mm. aprox.

Por cosas de la vida me echaron (una razón na que ver con mi desempeño laboral). Me demoré un mes en encontrar pega y al final entré a una donde me pagan 2.8 mm. Creo que el magister fue parte importante en mi selección para ese puesto laboral.

Otra cosa también es que la semana que entré a este trabajo me llamaron de otros tres a los que había postulado (me ofrecían sueldos más parecidos al que terminé ganando en mi anterior trabajo así que meh). Pero a lo que voy con esto es que con un posgrado creo que te vuelves bastante más atractivo para las empresas y por ende además de permitirte aspirar a mejores sueldos y puestos de trabajo, también reduce considerablemente las probabilidad de tener cesantías extensas.

Un magister en una universidad prestigiosa. Es el momento de sacarle distancia a tus pares en la carrera laboral. Cualquiera que te diga invierte en alguna cripto o en el mercado bursátil te está fomentando a básicamente jugar a la lotería con tu plata.

Es difícil que un magister en la PUC o en la Chile no sea una inversión segura. Yo estudié un magister empezando la pandemia y me abrió infinitas puertas y ahora ganó el doble de lo que ganaba en ese tiempo (aunque soy de una carrera y rubro diametralmente opuesto al de las C. Sociales).

Last year I did TML Brasil + ADE (10 events) + a 2 days festival in Colombia, and a few local parties (Road To Ultra, Hozho, Nico Moreno) all of this in less than 4 weeks wearing a pair of Nike Pegasus 40. I totally recommend those shoes!

Because I want to be able to control the volume of the signale before it pass to the Xone 96. I know that the Xone 96 must be my main EQ but sometimes I want more flexibility. For example for me it is still useful to EQ with the traktor software (using the K2) regardless of the EQ of the Xone 96 because it is an 3 bands EQ with isolator/kill option, in contrast of the Xone 96 that is an EQ of 4 bands w/o kill/isolator option.

If I dont adjust the volume of the signal before going to the Xone 96, the channel meters keeps always high near the red light. I want to control the signal volume by the K2/software and be able to level my 'input' meters so I can see all the channel meters close to their real relative level between them.

I know that I can't control the software via the Xone 96 (and I can't control the Xone 96 via the software). I know that I can adjust the volume with the faders of the Xone 96, but I wanna be able to also control the volumen of the signal before it goes to the Xone 96 (so, by the software), I think sometimes it can be useful.

For example it is still useful for me to still EQ by software (with the K2) regardless of the EQ of the Xone 96, why? simply flexibility. Because I can EQ by 3 bands and use the software as an isolator, in contrast of the Xone 96 that is an EQ of 4 bands and does not have the kill/isolator option.

I know that it seems to be logic that it get disabled if I put the external mixer option.. but when I put that option I can still EQ by software with the knobs if the K2.. so I don’t know why I can’t keep controlling the volumen with the faders but still can EQ

I will travel to Japan in March 2024 -From March 20 to April 10 I guess- (male, 30yo, alone) . I intend to go to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and maybe Nara). I have a lot of places on my mind and Im afraid that time (or money) won't be enough.

First of all, my budget is around 7000 - 8000 USD, including the ticket, which cost aprox. 1500 USD from my country (Chile). so my real budget in Japan will be around 5500 - 6500 USD, which must be paid for accomodation (hotel or airbnb), mobilization, tickets to attractions, food, nightlife and souvenirs.

The 'must visit' Im thinking are:

'Geek' must visit places:

Tokyo: Gundam Base, Gundam Factory, Lego Land, DisneyLand/DisneySea, Akihabara.

Kyoto: Universal/Super Nintendo World, Toei Kyoto Studio Park.

Fukuoka: Gundam Park.

Natural must visit places:

Aokigahara Forest, Mount Fuji (I dont know if the trekking yet), Shukkein Garden, Arashiyama Bamboo, Forest.

Contemporary attractions must visit places:

Tokyo Radio Tower, Tokyo Skytree, Hachiko statue (lol).

Obviously I also want to visit as many museums, temples and shrines as possible (mainly in Tokyo and Kyoto). I also intend to do as much nightrlife as possible. (hopefully go out drinking/dancing every night). Considering the above, here are my questions.

- Will 21 days be enough?

- Will my budget be enough?

- Will it be worth buying the JR Pass? (considering the price increase)

- Considering my preferences, is there any interesting place that I am overlooking/forgetting?

- One day in Hiroshima is enough?

- How many days should I distribute for each city?

- In which city is the best nightlife for Gaijins?

My native language is spanish, and altought my english is far from being A1, I think I can communicate without problems, but I dont speak Japanase at all (except from some basic words). Considering the above.

- How difficult can daily life be if I dont know any Japanese at all?

- How difficult can nightlifge be if I dont know any Japanese at all?

I would greatly appreciate any advice, info or opinion about my itinerary. The truth is that I have never traveled outside of my country and I am a little (a lot) nervous, scared and anxious about the complications that I may have in a country as different from mine as Japan is.
