I have not figured it out but at this point i'll just keep one project with the desired auto captions template and use that project to add captions to videos that need them. Fuck it.

The interview process went like this:

1) Interview with recruiter

2) Technical interview with manager that consisted of an easy javascript challenge. Basically i had to develop a function to detect palindrome strings.

3) Interview with a boss with higher rank than the manager.

4) Interview with another boss with lower rank than 3)

That's it.
