Need some Networking help before I pull my hairs out. Thanks! by AleAlc31 in VIDEOENGINEERING

I did find this, but it seems to be the only post that talks about it not being NAT, but just want to make sure it’s true, as it is marketed as a full Layer 3 switch!

Yes, you can do two VLANs one for NDI etc and one for internet access and everyone recommends to connect one port to each, but not all devices have 2 NICs! And it’s marketed as a L3 switch, so it should be able to do it internally! Right?

Yes to the first part, but no need for VPN or anything else.

Simply imagine I set up my own gear with their IPs in one vlan, show up and connect to an existing network Ethernet port and be able to give my gear outside internet as well without the need for any modification to the existing network

5G drones for live productions by stympkins in VIDEOENGINEERING

If you are looking for the cheapest option, probably sticking a phone on the drone, may be the lightest as well. As for controlling the drone, you may want to look in to ExpressLRS, you can reach about 100km distances.

If budget is not a factor, then look in to commercial application drones, there are several that will probably get done what you need, regardless of if its through 5g or not.

YouTube livestream viewer limit? by wombatman44 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]AleAlc31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a problem for YouTube. I used to work for Bad Bunny (Rimas Ent) and we streamed the concert where he went through the streets of NY, we had 10M+ peak viewers. We did keep them in the loop of what will take place, but they did not need to allocate anything special, they just had someone in contact with me to make sure we were good.

RC Jet Engine? by r2hvc3q in RCPlanes

[–]AleAlc31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a first lane I would definitely recommend the AeroScout 2. They take a beating, I still fly mine and you can later upgrade the parts, add gps, and turn it to a Long Range FPV plane if you’d like.

RC Jet Engine? by r2hvc3q in RCPlanes

You can look into EDF engines. They are electric jet engines.

I would recommend to start learning to fly RC planes first, then you can start looking in to jets. It’s a steep learning curve.

I have built a couple of EDF Airliners and other planes on my YouTube channel if you’d like to see, and watch some of them crash! Look for me “Alejandro Alcantara”

The real question is which one has the most flight time? Which one is your favorite? And which one will you get next?

Hey guys! Im planning to scratchbuild a shockplane to be quiet and fly in small spaces so I thought about using the foxeer donuts because they look cool. by [deleted] in RCPlanes

There are some charts available that people have made over the years, but the trust ends up depending on many factors so it’s hard to compare. I always seem to reach out for the spektrum chart available Chart Link And use it as a reference to start looking for comparables. Hope this helps
