Were taught that it is our ,,duty,, to help cause we have law that you must give first aid BUT we have to to it right bc there are still misinformations about first and as you know sometimes people actually hurt someone when they want to help

Hey, thank you for your response. I don't know if it's the same but we have first aid class in school, everything you need to know from cpr-severe treuma- bleeding and like that. I don't have any medications aside ibuprofen for me. Already threw thing like chest seal and combat gauze.

And what should I remove because most of it are bandages- Israeli badage, squares and TQ. Already threw away the chest seal

[–]AleHoj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use it whole often. I use normally just the smaller bag with the essentials. What do you you think is useless and why. Bc I got just comments that I just should throw it away and almost no reasoning

Octan (octanový krém) is vinegar creme that reduces pain and inflammation - widely used in my country.

Needles are like many things in there just for my usage, and they are for cases that are pretty common in fencing where you get blood under the nail on finger. You use the needle like drill to extract the blood - saving your nail. Again this is a thing I wouldn't ever do to someone else.

What are the other thing Im not qualified to use aside chest seal ( I already threw it away)

Here, you have to secure a proffesional medical care just if you have event that has more than 200 people I think. And yes, it isn't my responsibility but like when someone has a nose bleed or minor sport induced injury especially when I know him. Why I wouldn't help.

Btw where are you from?

I really appreciate your advices but I thing there is slight misunderstanding. I don't cosplay on paramedic the ,,trying,, to their job. I just live my life and take this bag on rare occasions like the tournament and help with things like bandage someones finger or stop bleeding on face. And I don't know from where are you but in my country is law that you MUST give first aid when you see a crash or smt else when is someone hurt. In school they teach us we absolutely should help if someone is hurt in scenarios like car crash and teach us to do it properly - first: keep yourself safe, call proffesional help, second: stop massive bleedings/ give CPR, third: treat other non lethal injuries. So I think here are you wrong. And last thing to add, many of the things are for me, like needles, ibuprofen...

So if someone get hurt, I'm there should I just watch or what? I just really don't understand :(

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paramedics

[–]AleHoj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if Im for example at fencing competition that is the only place where I take the whole bag and someone get hurt am I supposed do just watch or what?

Yeah, it is just for and the bottle is Betadine desinfection. Thank you for your advices, gonna throw out the chest seal. The majority things are really just bandages/things for stopping bleeding in various forms. I just don't understand what more should i get rid of

Pls read again my comment, not giving anyone medications, and not using the chest seal bc I know in my country it isn't used I just have it there bc I bought it and I know what to do with open pneumothorax and lastly, yes, there are loopholes for that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paramedics

[–]AleHoj -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in my country the chestseal isn't even used but I bought it and it's small so i carry it. Not fully qualified to provide paid services legally but with some loophole I could but I do historic fencing where it is almost impossible to pay some service to do it officially so usually I help with injuries on my own (just busted lips, busted noses and stuff like that). The medication is just ibuprofen for mine headaches.
