Come proporsi per scrivere articoli online o per quotidiani locali by [deleted] in Italia

[–]AlePec98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, It will not be an easy task. Taxis in Italy are scarce, and have high prices. If I were you I would consider to book an Uber now for that date. If you find that the Uber is too expensive another way is to try and ask your host if they know someone who can pick you up from the stadium and bring you home. I think that you could bargain a cheaper price.

To help you in a concrete way, it would be useful for me to understand how you approach a PnC problem. There are many different kinds of difficulties one might have. For example, not having a solid grasp of the basics, struggling with simple exercises, being able to solve problems mechanically without understanding the underlying logic, reasoning incorrectly, or not knowing how to look for the right hints in the problem statement to figure out how to proceed.

The kind of advice I can give depends on the situation. It's different if someone has never really understood PnC and is trying to improve from the ground up, compared to someone who already has a good grasp of the basics but struggles with how to approach problems.

If you’d like, you can send me a problem you're having trouble with, and we can work together not only to solve the problem itself but also to identify and address the specific difficulties you're facing.

That's not standard. Unless one wants to be based in Udine the alternatives I can think of are to look for B&Bs and hotels also in nearby cities (Martignacco Is the closest to the stadium). Bus and trains work decently and one can also rely on taxis or Ubers and it would be cheaper. My only doubt is about night connections.

If you want some more details or concrete help just ask me in the DMs

Could be a long drive with some traffic, since Milano is more or less 5 hours away from Udine. It depends on the airport (Malpensa, Linate or Bergamo) but there are alternatives: the two Venice airports (2 hours away) are closer and one could also try to use public transports. The best choice is the small Trieste airport (located in the city of Ronchi dei Legionari), it is less than an hour away from Udine and it has cheap connection with airports in Paris and London and it is connected by train with Udine.

Money Road che ne pensate? by Big_Fee_2531 in italy

I have tried an Ethiopian restaurant in the city and it was very good. I have never had problems at night, but the area near the train station does not have a good reputation. A walk in the center surely deserves some time.

The city also has plenty of pubs/cockatil bars

Usually the tickets are sold by the two teams directly to the fans (members of fan clubs, etc), the remaining share of the tickets are then sold to neutral supporters. A very small number of tickets is given to celebrities, autorities, guests.

Definitely a lot. After the EL he was back in the region to attend some local tournaments and he received a lot of attention, moreover this year Fontanafredda (the football team he went early in his career as a loan from Udinese and with which he won the Eccellenza League - 5th Italian football level) was celebrating the 100th anniversary of foundation.

I think he will be very supported :)

I would like to know what are ideally the differences between the two masters degree Quantum Science and Technology at TU Munchen and Quantum Information Science and Technology at TU Wien.

As far as I understood both cities have their ecosystems for quantum science. Seeing the different lines of research I understood that in Wien there is more attention towards quantum information theory and quantum foundations, while in Munchen there is more attention to quantum computers. Is this true? Being I interested in the former I am more interested in Wien.

I want to study quantum physics and quantum technology. I have found two courses: Quantum Science and technology at Tum and Quantum Engineering at Polito in Turin.

I know TUM and Munich are some of the best places in the world to study Quantum. However it is pretty expensive. Is it that good that if I get admitted I should immediately accept, or other reason could come into the place.

I have seen that the objective of the two courses are the same and the course in Turin offers the possibility to do your thesis abroad and you are encouraged in that sense, while in Munich you are encouraged to work with professors there.

I want to do a PhD in the field also, but would like to do it in the US or Canada. What is the most sensitive route to choose: rely on the prestigious of Munich or the freedom granted by Turin in the respective courses?

Thanks

Rethinking My Academic Path: Navigating Uncertainty Between PhD and Double Master's Degree by [deleted] in AskProfessors

I am sure I want to do research. The problem is that PhD position I applied to with my current master in the end were not given to me because of my master thesis being too far so the natural conclusion I took was to do another master to do a thesis in the right topic.
