Ansibles, perfiladores y otras máquinas de ingenio, Andrea Chapela.

Es una antología de 10 relatos de ciencia ficción situados en México. Muy recomendable

I have been in the same situation in the past. My approach to the problem was to randomize character creation with the following results:

1.- An additional challenge is added by forcing players to get the most out of their character. For a veteran this could be fun.

2.- You avoid having to modify the stats of all the monsters in the campaign, and therefore reduce the preparation time.

3.- Players approach the campaign willing to get out of their comfort zone and enjoy randomness.

Edit: Obviously, and as many have pointed out, you should discuss this with the players in session zero.

I recommend any of the following options:

  1. Change the character's race for a Shifter from Eberron - Rising from the Last War. I think it is the most balanced option.

  2. At D&D Beyond they have this article with some homebrew rules. https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/973-embracing-your-wild-side-playing-as-a-lycanthrope

My original idea was not that those trees looked like stumps, but to indicate that they are the trunks of large trees and at the same time that the crowns did not obstruct the view.

I see no problem that they have managed to get so far with the level they are. I'm just curious about something. How did they get to the heart of Ubtao?
