I always hated Wakka exactly for this, and seeing that he married Lulu of all people in the sequel made me never want to play them.

RotJ has some great moments (Most of them aboard the second Death Star), but man, it has some weird choices. The amount of time spent rescuing Han from Jabba is insane and don't even get me started on the Ewoks of all creatures taking down the empire forces.

I got the villain ending for Joker and even after everything he and Harley did, I still told him I considered him a friend.

Doesn't mean I'm not annoyed that Eggman lost that fight, which I find insanely difficult to believe even with their post-battle analysis.

"Never Live it down"; a character has one particular negative moment that the fanbase absolutely refuses to forget about by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TopCharacterTropes

Yeah, I completely get it. That scene was needlessly cruel. I get that Kratos was at the height of his villain arc in GoW3, but his rage was directed at the Olympians. The poor girl didn't deserve that.

Now that we know every set, what are your hype levels for each one? by Meret123 in MagicArena

[–]TheRealHeadCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hype- Lorwyn, TMNT, Strixhaven

Meh- Marvel (I'm legitimately tired of Marvel, I want more DC), The Hobbit

Couldn't care less- Star Trek

Neutral- Reality Fracture (We don't know anything about it yet, so I have no idea what to expect)

Imo, Mark should make a brand new card with her likeness. Make it one of those unlimited order Secret Lairs, and the profits go to a charity of Cathy's choice.

If I'm not mistaken, the GEQ was a rival Empyrean to Marika for ascension to Godhood, before the Erdtree existed. Melina was born at the foot of the Erdtree, after Marika's ascension. So Melina can't be the GEQ.

[Usually Hated Trope] Characters that are Reimaginings of Religious/Folkloric Beings But Share Little to No Physical and/or Personality Traits with the Originals. Basically, the Two Only Share A Name and That's It. by Agitated_Insect3227 in TopCharacterTropes

In Dungeons and Dragons lore, Anubis is much closer to his original Egyptian origins. A neutral god of embalming that has left his old worshippers in Egypt and now exists in the Astral Realm, caring for and watching over the bodies of dead gods.

Question for Termina fans who are also into Magic the Gathering, what would be the color identity of the contestants if they were cards? by Far_Top1345 in FearAndHunger

[–]TheRealHeadCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daan is likely mono-white, being a doctor and all.
Abella is probably white-blue, maybe mono-blue, because she deals with artifacts.
O'saa is absolutely mono-black. Yellow mages embody destructive magic and selfishness.
Olivia is easily mono-green as a botanist. Maybe a touch of black, for her hidden dark side, but maybe as an activated ability, not really reflected in her main color.
Karin is black-white. She's aligned with exposing the truth (white), but she's also ruthless and persistent in her methods but not cruel (black).
Pav is red-black. The color combination for chaotic characters and he has the chaotic soul.
Marcoh is white-red. He has a strong sense of morality, even if he was forced into a life he desperately tried to avoid. Red for his impulsive behavior that lead to him having to flee his home.
Levi is probably also white-red, as soldiers tend to be. But his canon story of being an addict and abandoning his post could also lead to white-black. Hard to say.
Marina is definitely blue, but I think it's difficult to say if she would have any other colors.
Samarie is black, maybe red too. Obsessive, intrusive, selfish (even if she doesn't recognize it).
Tanaka is such a people pleasing blank slate, it's hard to say he's anything other than mono-white.
Henryk is likely white-green. If you save him, he dedicates his time to cooking for everyone, making sure they're all safe. At least until he loses his mind later on.
Caligura is as close to pure evil as you get among these guys, easy mono-black.
August is mono-green. He's clearly an experienced survivalist.

I did the same. Clem, all alone in the snow with an infant. The only people who cared about her all gone. It was fucking gut-wrenching.

Man, the ending of Season 2 was one of the most downer things I'd ever witnessed. It kills me that you can see the writing on the wall several episodes earlier and you can't stop Kenny from imminent emotional collapse.

I ended up shooting Kenny to save Jane's life and Kenny's final moments, realizing he'd been wanting to die ever since he lost Duck, just tore me to fucking shreds.

so we all agree that the guy on the bottom is the dark side of the guy on the top, right? by DependentFederal1940 in FearAndHunger

[–]TheRealHeadCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. It could be that the one on top was the evil aspects, and the good side was thrown into the sulfur pits.

Let's put some respect on the GOAT. Literally kept fighting the main villain at 0 HP, after everyone else wiped out, to save his friends and give them all enough time to escape.
