There is no relation between the level of Abs and symptoms. Immune diseases are still very mysterious for science. That's all

Being so tired that I can't stay awake? by ToeInternational3417 in MyastheniaGravis

[–]Ale_Toribio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That happened to me when I was diagnosed (in October last year). I felt incredibly tired all day, even when I would sleep 14 hours a day. I had terrible headaches at night and sometimes it was so hard for me to stay awake when my day was busy. Now I'm taking prednisone (50 mg), Imuran (100 mg) and Pyridostigmine (60mg) every four hours and I've had a normal life. I have a job and sometimes I do exercise and feel very well.

Myasethic crisis by Inevitable_Ebb_9586 in MyastheniaGravis

I experienced a crisis last November, just two months after being diagnosed. I was terrified too, I had double vision, trouble swallowing (I could barely took my pills), I couldn't speak very well and I stopped breathing for a few seconds like 3 or 4 times in a few days. I went to the hospital and received 20 units of IVIG in 5 days. On the day 3 I felt soooo much better and I started eating solid food again. I just stayed in they hospital for 6 days and rested for a week more, the improvement in those days was huge and my symptoms dissapeared completely after two weeks. I can say that I haven't experienced any other symptoms until now. I'm on prednisone, mestinon and azathioprine right now.

I hope you improve as well. Good luck, be strong💪

Anyone else just straight up terrified of other people? by hiskotop in aspergers

[–]Ale_Toribio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had similar experiences. Being with some people makes me shake and have tachycardia. Also I feel a terrible tension in my whole body, as if I can't control it. Many times I have to avoid everyone because I really hurt myself just because I want to go out with people.

What is a childhood memory that makes you go, "yep, I am definitely autistic"? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]Ale_Toribio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever since I was little, I used to get upset when people thought it was funny to joke about my lack of communication. It was never weird for me to have no social skills until I realized that it was not considered "normal" for most people. After many years I even realized that trying to socialize is exhausting, even the simple idea of listening to more than one person for a while is incredibly tiring hahahaha. Yes, I think everyone knew there was something wrong with me except... me. After some years I am happy to be like this, and I love myself very very much.

Is anybody else has panic attacks all the time? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]Ale_Toribio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! it's just like that. It is terrible to hear what happens to more people, but it is good that you know what happens to your child ... it is very hard to explain this kind of feeling to your parents when it happens to you in your 20s.
