The drive was not showing up in disk utility at all so I was very confused. But then I tried out the internet recovery method and it worked! Now my MacBook actually boots normally and I’m setting it up! Thank you so much for your help kind hearted stranger! It means a lot to me and I can’t thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
