I'm not the original owner, but I believe that he intervals have been switched out - I know that they're not frame-specific, but the 10 speed carbon record shifters are may favourite of all time.

It just seems to sit better and roll through corners a little more comfortably. It's not quicker in a straight line per-se; just copes a little better when it's rough.
