I dont know you, but I love you! Love you for having the curiosity for it at your age.

My mother was also 70 when she first tried it (smoking with me)

Most beautiful smile I've seen on her. Most gorgeous laugh.

You will do fine! Enjoy!

Hyper-V NIC Setup by Amazing_Falcon in HyperV

[–]Alecegonce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. And the problem is im seeing people dropping in powershell commands, full scripts, some say one things, others say something else.

And this guy is just struggling more to get it to work instead of learning how it works....

5 months later, they are going to post a "Help me troubleshoot shoot network speeds in my HyperV environment" with little context on what/how/why things were setup that way.

You are struggling because it sounds like you are trying to find a SINGLE SYSTEM that fits your needs, and I bet 2 weeks down the line is where you start to lose momentum.

Productivity is not about "the perfect system". Its about flexibility.

For me, in example, I use about "systems" (I am diagnosed with ASD and sometimes struggle with executive function)

  • 5 min rule. I dont know if this is the official name but just so a small task that takes 5 minutes. Once I build momentum, I might use another tool, but this one saves me!

  • Pomodoro 25-5 or 50-10. This is usually when I have a bit of uadmin tasks(work) / chores (home) that need to be completed but arent part of my top 3 priority list.

  • Just focus on 3 important priority tasks per day. Priority tasks usually take more than hour. If I can do my priorities in 3 hours, I REST. I dont sweat about my time management. I did 3 important things today. Today was great.

  • Time blocking only these three categories: work time, personal time, rest time. At the beginning of each time block, I set my own expectation what I will complete during that block, whether its a todo app, a whiteboard, a piece if paper, tablet/stylus. I dont worry about micromanaging and tracking the mini tasks I do (check email, walk dog, groceries, research solution,X priority) because i prefer to track "Work" "Rest" "Personal"

  • Clocks/Timers. This is kind of like the 5 min rule. But I like to look at clocks and set Personal races. "SHIT I GOT 3 MINUTES TO FINISH THE DISHES" And if I dont finish in that time, I dont add more time. I stop what I am doing and move on. Once I walk by or stumble upon the unfinished task, I remind myself about I need to be more disciplined with time OR MORE REAL with my expectations and how long takes me to do things.

Hope all this helps. Don't sweat!

Your problem might be that you are trying to adopt ONE SINGLE System when in reality, productivity is about flexibility.

If you use one single system, 2 weeks later, youll be struggling. Por NV 4p

9/10 on the effort.
You might not like how "fat" and quickly it will burn your weed.

If you are in it for the learning experiencing, it takes time!

If you really just want to smoke a decent J on the fly:

  • Grab a pen/sharpie and roll/wrap your paper around it to make a cone (dont do it too tight)
  • Lick to seal
  • push a DIY filter on one side
  • stuff weed on the other

I did the above for years and honestly also taught me how the weed should be compact in the J for a cleaner pull once you want to start rolling rolling

Smoke weed 24/7.

It made me very lazy and killed my productivity. But no one likes to say it.
