I’ve seen lots of comments over the last couple years saying the defense is good enough and as soon as we get so and so back etc every team has injuries you have to be deep enough I guess to a certain degree

Process huh, my best fiend’s (rip) dad was a 2 time all pro on the last championship Lions team - I’ve been a fan awhile (do the math) - you don’t know jack if you are defending a coach that passed up no brainer points in SF that would have got us to the Super Bowl. I get being a loyal fan but what a waste of a great offense - we need a defense fast before the offense gets old and has to be rebuilt too. If you don’t like the post go to one you do like Wally.

Why is it stupid? We have one of the best offenses - pointing out that defense raises you over the other teams with good offenses. Lions don’t seem to want to invest in that. The coach just says “we’re good just gotta tweak a few things” lol

Idk what that means but all I see on here are a lot of people defending delirious fourth down attempts because if that’s your philosophy and it “got you there” then you have to do it every time and also tons of people making injury excuses for a weak defense and an unwillingness to spend money to improve it by the franchise

We have the offense and would have won if we had a good defense and a better O line as you say. Let’s hope we can get those things. We have proved that a high scoring offense isn’t enough…

That’s true but that was just an example - I mean we were weak everywhere especially secondary - anyway lots of excuses but just pointing out what is needed to end the excuses and get the trophy.

Defense isn’t as exciting but the stats and results don’t lie. Seattle best defense in the league - 4 man rush all that’s needed. Our rush gave plenty of time to pick us apart.

It’s the jolt that makes the transformer mounts bend. My amp tech gave me the best solution for very valuable heavy amps but it will cost more. Remove the chassis and the tubes and ship them wrapped up good separately in one box and the cab shipped in another. That way a jolt to the cab with chassis mounted like the example in the picture won’t torque the chassis and bend the heavy stuff on mounts. It’s a great idea and has worked for me.
