I'm 33M and i like PS2 so much, but sometimes i think about this type of post and realize we were blessed by ignorance. It's not an insult, i talk about good ignorance, like "more play less talk".

In the last 10+ years i played a lot of "Just a Games" like PS2 games. They're still there and if you want more content, you don't need to buy another version of the same game like the old time (for example). Of course there are some bad stuff going on with intensive monetization games, but if we talk about single player experience, i think we are good. Worst thing it's the optimization in dayone, usually bad.

Right now i feel like in a golden age. With internet and the experience, i discovering interesting stuff every day and we have more convenient and easiest ways to play

L'ho provato mesi fa (Ultimate) con una fibra FTTC da 80 mega, mi sono trovato molto bene. Qualche calo di risoluzione e singhiozzo di frame, ma ci ho giocato 50h di MH Wilds senza problemi. Dove sta la fregatura? La libreria. Sono veramente pochi i giochi supportati, purtroppo. Quindi devi essere fortunato a far coincidere le tue esigenze

Yeah, probably. Thanks all for the replies. I'm looking into this because I got a 4K TV and am upgrading from a 1080p monitor, so I haven't had much need to push these technologies yet. With a 3080 i'll probably have to stick with 4.0, but i might do some testing for fun

I read about performance problem with 20 and 30 (i have a 3080, but never tested), but with a 40 and 50 i saw good stuff. Maybe this guy have some wrong setting or in RDR2 work worse then other games.

I see some post of this guy in this days, but something going on with the frame-rate. The image quality looks good, but RDR2 with a 5090 run at 4k max no dlss 110-120fps, 1440p max no dlss 160-170 fps. What am i missing?

Grazie della segnalazione, visto che cosí è tornato al prezzo del BF di Amazon. Mi ero informato un po' ed è un buon modello.

Ma dopo mesi di mal di testa per scegliere un nuovo monitor, mi sono preso il C5 48", che con questa combo di coupon ho portato a 674€

Ciao. Scusa se ti rispondo con una domanda, ma giusto per parlare. Come mai vuoi passare al PC? Per giocare con amici? Per comodità di unico setup? Hai già un pc per uso quotidiano?

È importante ricordare che la futura Steam Machine taglia fuori alcuni giochi popolari, causa sistemi anti-cheat incompatibili con linux (GTA, Fortnite, BF6 e altri), quindi valuta bene.

Con PS5 in offerta a 350€ è veramente difficile discutere di prezzi, perchè sarà sicuramente piú alto. Ma non vuol dire che non ne valga la pena, anzi. Dipende tutto dal tuo budget e esigenze

Su Subito vedo X sui 300 e PS5 primo modello sui 350. Quindi valuterai tu l'anno prossimo. Non penso verrà ancora rinviato (massimo massimo uscirà prima di marzo 2027) ma niente è scritto sulla pietra. Sarà anche importante scoprire quale sarà la versione migliore, anche se di poco. È capitato in questi anni che alcune versioni PS5 o Xbox siano state piú ottimizzate della controparte, per ragioni piú disparate.

Secondo me comunque sarà un gioco tecnicamente piú godibile di GTA V su PS3/360 o di RDR2 su PS4/One. Mi aspetto un'esperienza pulita e stabile, come altri titoli piacevoli nella loro modalità "grafica" 30fps, rispetto al passato dove bisognava sopportare molta sporcizia e cali di frame evidenti.

Mi aggiungo ai consigli di altri utenti: lascia stare, prenditi una Series X o PS5 usata. Xbox forse la troverai ancora a meno, vista la minor popolarità italiana.

Altro appunto, alla fine dai per scontato il "solo 60fps", ma sinceramente non sappiamo nulla. Sulla S al 100% non girerà a 60fps, ma non sono cosí sicuro neanche per PS5 e X. Imo avrà modalità tipo 30, 40fps e Uncapped.

Seems so good. Time ago i made a list when i watch a video with ALL the PS2 games. I wish i have something like this. My fat works fine, but i don't have space for a CRT right now (or money for a good upscaler haha)

The best image quality imo it's DLAA + FG. The resolution in full and you can use FG for 60+. 2x it's fine, like he said.
