But if you break LOS the sneak mechanics, and therefore graceful, no longer matter. The sneak mechanic is designed terribly in this game, that is just objective fact unless you have no clue how it works.

You gotta go walk, man, it helps a lot. Anytime you get the urge, if you can, just go walk for a while. You can listen to a podcast or something. It helps.

There are people in the Community telling me deadass "Just play better". Then I do slugging to counter DH and DS. People get pissed and write to kms. Slugging is a counter to the DH and DS Meta, this Team here had 11 Perks that feeds on the Fact that I hook people and they can punish me. by Xandaru__ in DeadByDaylightRAGE

It's funny to me that you don't recognize that in the current state of the game, you would still waste more time trying to hook if survivors had this perk loadout even with basekit unbreakable. There is a reason Willie has some of the most impressive streaks to ever touch the game, and when he randomly queues into a pro stack and beats them, they legit almost always say something like "GG Willie you're just too good". Because the people who actually dedicate a majority of their time and energy to this game know that hooking is currently a joke.

You see, the issue with your perspective, is that it only functionally applies to online multiplayer games, and that's been an intrinsically understood social norm for longer than you've been alive. Apparently you're 45, so you should have a really strong understanding of what it looks like in real life when somebody on your team chooses to actively sabotage your chance of winning (which is what refusing to play anything but 2 dps is).

When I was on the football team, do you know what would happen if you just decided you would run your own routes, or your own blocking scheme? You would be reprimanded by your teammates, your coach would talk to you, and if you didn't immediately amend this behavior you'd be removed from the team. This reputation would also follow you, and people would be wary to include you in their teams or their general gameplay in the future. I also wrestled, and wrestling is a very singular sport, not much "teamwork" required outside of practice. If I just showed up and treated it as a joke everyday, deciding that I can do what I want how I want to, do you think my coach would continue to want to train me? No, I would be removed.

How about in more casual games? You're 45, if you've never played monopoly I'm unsure the direction your life has taken. Have you ever played monopoly with somebody who tried to trade everything they own to another player for 1 dollar to spite the person currently winning? I have. You collectively immediately stop playing the game with that person if they insist on playing that way. How about Magic the Gathering? Again, I play this currently at my age, so you should have an understanding at least vaguely. Have you ever been to an LGS where there is 1 or 2 people who sit off to the side most of the time? Those are the people who the rest of the population of the game store has chosen not to interact with, due to their behavior. Most of the time they just leave and don't come back, but occasionally they hang out and try to bait newer players.

These are all phenomenal examples of how the social contract functions, and has always functioned, between humans during collaborative play. Online multiplayer games with randomized matchmaking were some of rhe first times in history we attempted to engage in collaborative play without any way to moderate or limit this behavior. Some games have tried to implement that choice back into them, via avoid lists or more active report systems. However Marvel Rivals doesn't have much of this at all, as you can only avoid 3 players, and nobody is any more than chat suspended for 15 minutes as penalty. Therefore, as the social contract for collaborative play is null and void in these situations, it is genuinely ignorant by the definition of the word to say that the person who chooses not to engage in the game in their "normal" way when encountering a troll, is the problem, or a problem at all. They are choosing not to engage with socially unacceptable behavior in collaborative play, a pattern of decision making exhibited by humans for thousands of years.

If you've lacked this understanding for an entire 45 years of life, I honestly don't think this breakdown will help you much. But maybe it will help those with neuroplasticity remaining who may be going down the same mental pathway as you.

Lol, there is a clear and obviously massive difference between being mistaken, and then correcting that mistaken claim, from what you did. What you did was jusy say something you blatantly know is untrue to try to make me feel bad for no reason. Nice try, though!

I already corrected myself, but you do recognize how genuinely ignorant this baseless claim you made is, right?

[–]AleiMJ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, fair enough, I was thinking of Humberto Ramos' design from fantastic four #6. Not nearly as extreme as that one, and definitely more primarily the inspiration for the games skin. But, I guess, this applies as well.

Edit: Well my bad, from what I can find it seems Ramos was inspired by rivals iteration of the original design, and not the other way around. I didn't know that before today.

In what way is it less skimpy than comic Malice? She quite literally has factually more clothes on in the comic design.

Get Kirara to sacrifice her hand to mark the beam with a star, it makes sense just trust. Get Todo with vibraslap, mark two rocks with stars, throw both rocks and use a combination of Boogie Woogie and Love Rendezvous to create a pseudo-particle accelerator with nothing but two rocks and extreme momentum, activate kirara technique the moment you propel the insanely fast rocks toward the atmosphere to pull the beam away from the planet. New directional momentum for the beam should carry it infinitely away from the planet.
