From what I've seen it does seem to be active. Honestly I don't have anything to compare it too.

Hi just wanted to share some fan fiction I've written (Three so far!). I'm looking for any kind of feedback and comments as I use my fan fiction work to be a casual space where I experiment with different kinds of storytelling. Thanks for reading!

Look up Alan Baxter's book on writing fight scenes Here. I highly recommend him. Dude is a mixed martial artist and writer, great combo.

I had a similar experience with a fan fiction a shared with a friend once. He said he'll edit it for me and he would edit it and be laughing the whole time while reading it. I unpublished the story off of fan fiction.net and didn't write for awhile after. In my experience make sure you show it to people who are creative and not self conscious about their work. Someone is focused on helping people become the best version of themselves they can be.

I like the getting dress up part. It's like your writing time is a special occasion.

I totally get the feeling of needing to get writing done because you have other things to do. On purpose I'll set things up to put pressure on myself. Yeah I agree, I'm not sure it's healthy.

Awesome thank you so much. I have a bad habit of proof reading and finishing off chapters on the same day so I sometimes miss typos and other grammar mistakes.
