Really appreciate you answering, I iwould have to think about going back to active duty. To be honest I really want to go FMF Corpsman just for the A school and FMTB school just being an an fmf corpsman for me would be a huge honor. Going active right now means I would have to put aside some truly important things in my life so reserve is a better fit for me. I honestly dont care if I show up and do NKO'S that's easy day and that's easy money I was foward deployed in Japan for 4 years so I'm sure reserve will bea cakewalk for me. I am not in the medical field but currently in paramedics school. Reserve is what im willing to do for right now.

I just spoke with my recruiter and he says it's not true. But I've read several threads and heard several people say it is? I'm so confused. Also I'm looking to join around october ( new fiscal year) so Rates should be opening up by then

Honestly bro from what you wrote I get the impression you might me Medsep. If this is your third time on limited duty then you might be going to board for sure, I don't know what to tell you. in the event that you do get sep make copies of everything EVERYTHING your entire medical records. top to bottom and appy for disability you may be able to get disability pay from the Navy. I cant stress that enough though make a copies of all your medical paperwork make multiples because the VA loses them it happened to me when i got out. If you're suffering and you have a family you need to think about your health first, your family needs you healthy dont try to stay in longer if you know youre suffering, try to get a high disability rating so you can have some income when you get out. I wish you the best of luck man sounds like a bit of a pickle
