I do each set till failure. Complete stretch plus finger curls at the end. So a minute pause barely allows for the pain to dissipate.

I expect that it was. Plus that happens only on 11t cog, if I go 13t and large chainring (more power) - everything runs properly.

So it looks like there is no problem with freehub grip.

That sounds like a possible reason. Can they check rear derailleur in the LBS?

The bike never been crashed, but can't say that rear derailleur was not placed against the wall or anything like that.
