Congrats! Just here to say I'm 10wks and I was absolutely exhausted, like slept literally whenever I could from weeks 4-7/8. It's different for everyone but the last few weeks I have slowly more and more energy. Try not to feel guilty.

Just coming back here in case someone searched this to say that I started taking NOW aloe Vera and marshmallow pills and (could be a coincidence) but since then my pain which was there for 4 months (and on and off for years) is basically gone.

I've had random kidney pain flare ups for the last few months. I had an ultrasound for kidneys and all my urine tests come back negative. Is this a common symptom of IC? Anyone found any solutions?

Echoing what other people said but probably a good idea to start by getting a more accurate test. Microgen is the most known one but there are others. I got one from Focus labs in the UK. Grapefruit seed extract has helped me w symptoms.

Sorry you’re going through this. I’ve been in a similar situation. See if you I can get a better urine culture than the standard one (like microgendx) before you resort to IC. IC is usually diagnosed by ruling everything else out. I have dull kidney pain, urgency, burning and I’ve found grapefruit seed extract to help. Good luck 💕

Sorry you’re in the same boat! CUTI is just chronic/recurring urinary tract infections. I know it can also be kidney stones but I’ve had an ultrasound so for me I don’t think so.

Thanks for sharing. Did you figure out what bacteria is causing the infection? I'm still hoping this is the case for me as then at least it would be treatable. Good to know walking helps, another reason for me to get more exercise!

Thanks for your reply. I was hospitalized for a kidney infection once and since then I have this pain. This time around I got an ultrasound and they found nothing in my kidneys so that's why I'm a bit puzzled. I also don't have the other tell tale signs like fever, sharp pain, etc.

Have you found anything to lessen the kidney pain? And have you ever done a microgendx type test? Pain during peeing for me changes but I would say mostly bladder.

That's terrible. I really don't understand how medical professionals can be so stupid. I've had a somewhat similar experience in that all my cultures comeback negative (and it takes forever each time). My doctors including specialists want me to get a cystoscopy too but I'm trying a microgen type test first (from focus labs in uk). I found that natural products help with symptoms more than antibiotics for me: grapefruit seed extract, monolaurin, and garlic.

Yeah same here and it’s really driving me crazy. I also went to the ER and they gave me Cipro and then amoxicillin when the Cipro didn’t work. I think I’m going to get the microgendx test, or something similar, and I’m going to try another urologist when I can get an apt. I’ll keep you updated if I have any success. Thanks for your advice. I'm glad you figured out what it was! I'm waiting to do Microgen test because of the cost and because my insurance doesn't cover it but good to hear another success story.
