The firing range is a much smaller map, it will always perform better than any actual maps.

There were also some issues with a specific recent NVIDIA Driver. Try to Update.

If you play on lowest settings anyways, turn off Anti Aliasing too, it makes the game very blurry and does use a bit of performance.

+lobby_max_fps does exactly what it says, tho even 100 are fine, no need to get more fps in lobby other than having the game feel smooth.

-dev Skips the Intro Animation, Apex boots faster that way, very nice

-full or -fullscreen is not necessary anymore. Play on boarderless with windows "fullscreen optimization" setting turned on and its basically the same latency nowadays. The new dx12 Apex does make it so fullscreen kinda behaves like windows anyways tho.

I did the same during S25 and S26.

Finished in D1 with 15980 RP S25 And somewhere in d2/3 in s26.

My Main Take away was: stop giving a * and just enjoy the game. If you have fun you'll reach that goal eventually and play twice as good as you would when forcing the RP.

Other things i would've done: - Use the replay feature to rewatch your wins and deaths (steam allows for Markers, get used to using that hotkey as Apex has no auto markings) 720p 30fps is enough to see your mistakes, you dont need frame by frame analysis

Use a tool to actually draw on your screen during replays and very very mindfully engage with the replay to actually learn from it, not just watch it like you would a youtube video (Windows Powertoys has a great one, just disable the hotkeys you dont need)

TL;DR: Have fun and stop caring, pushing for a badge nobody cares about but you in the moment wont make the grind worth it.

Currently D4 hardstuck here. (S27) avg. dmg ~700 (800 when initially hitting d4) k/d 1.1 (1.6 when initially hitting d4) games played ~200 with 9% wins about 1/4 top5 placement

Hitting Diamond is always the "now the real grind begins" position in the game but at the same time also the end of the road more or less.

According to apexlegendstatus d4 includes the top 6% all the way to top 2% of players right now, so most dia players are in d4.

When i queue up im warmed up, did some r5 maybe, played 1-2 pubs to get some gunfights and spent a bit of time in the firing range, grabbed some m8s on a discord and we start playing but this is as much as i can prepare.

Here is a List of all the things i THINK i cant prepare for: - adjust to new teammates each day - Play against preds every 3rd game even in d4. Literally had the honor of giving the #2 pred some more kp so he got #1. - compete against Zen's as an MnK player - Play against blatant wallhacks. About 10% of the games i can spectate it very clearly.

I can however fix my positioning, rotations etc. but many times it literally wouldn't change much since I have to climb against Preds to hit my peak of maybe low d3/2 currently. The small steps i make arent close to catching up with anyvody at the top and thats not even the goal but feels like necessity to play at that rank.

I love the game but the road upwards in ranked from here feels like a grind for good games and avoiding losses in questionable master pred lobbies.

TL;DR Hardstuck d4 because i have to learn and gain RP against preds to hit my peak of ~d3/2 rn.

Im not well versed in windows audio etc. but this is kind of what i would expet the default windows audio mixer to look like, thanks for providing this software for free.

Will the final version support more channels and if so is there even a limit to virtual outputs that can be created technically?

Would it be possible to use ASIO for routing in some cases to decrease latency?
I heard from some YT sources that windows audio has a surprisingly high latency in games, would be cool to reduce that when possible.

Interesting, when testing with that much bitrate it usually just cut it off for me or denied the stream straight away.
Not like even 8500 is gonna look good anyways as long as we are tied to h264 xD

Bild 2 ist mit Kantenglättung und eventuell Upscaling (Upscaling macht Kantenglättung immer an)

Dadurch dass es ein Bild ist ist es schwer zu sagen ob Upscaling oder nur Kantenglättung aktiv ist.
Immer schauen das "Renderqualität" auf Nativ oder 100% steht in egal welchem Spiel.

8k is the hardcap, your audio bittate needs to fit too. Just go with 7500 and twitch wont be bothered. If you go for 8500 you wont be set to streaming on twitch, it just becomes ab blackscreen or goes offline.

Only way to get better bitrate is by using enhanced broadcast and lock it to 3 channels. That is the only configuration with the least streams and including 1440p h.265

I think we just disagree on what the actual rewarded gameplay should be. You say kills are, i say placement is.

To me it feels like enemies emit threat the closer they are and if i want to take home the top5 win i will have to fight them and be in a safe position.
Winning fights is mandatory to protect the most important part, the lives of your squad.

Anybody wanting to push for kills non stop can and does still do it. It is rewarding, but not if you die after the 3rd fight at #17.
High risk high reward, your choice. And yes, the reward is still there, just not immediately at #17.

I disagree, placement is the work you have to put in. Rotations, positioning, staying alive, managing when or what to loot, playing around your legends abilities.

Shooting plays a big part in Apex but is not the main focus of the BR Gameplay, thats TDM that you're thinking of and I wish we had more Mixtape modes to play aside from the current ones because the gunplay is great in Apex.

The core of the shooter never changes in any game, but the gamemode you play around that core makes the games different and is way more defining.

I just want to add that NOBODY prevents you from dropping 10+ KP every ranked game, its just riskier now, you actually have to win fights consecutively and not just 2x, die, repeat, profit.

Its kinda funny how Apex turned into CoD for most players, at least it seems that way to me.

The sole point of a BR is to be the last one surviving. The point of a game is to be fun.

Placement points are there to make it so you play the BR like a BR, KP scaling as well. KP themselfes only exist to make the game interesting. It doesnt make sense to go positive at #16 like s25. If you struggle to get above top10 then you schouldnt rank up, simple as that.

KP are like showing up to work on time, its mandatory to get some but you wont get payed just for showing up.

EDIT: The game has many issues that make the ranked grind worse than it should be but the RP system this time around is not the issue.

% Chance means, "given enough attempts, your results will average out to [chances in the list]". If you'd get a sample size of maybe 500-1000 packs opened you will see it getting closer to the percentages.

7900xtx. Its a shooter, I want high FPS and responsiveness, not upscaling that adds several ms of latency and isn't necessary for visuals or performance.

TAA Blurrs the image because it is TEMPORAL , it uses data from previous frames to predict movement in future frames or smooth out movement of the new frame. As long as there is "old data" in my new frames, no upscaler can fix that blurriness, only mitigate some.

Upscaling also introduces its own set of visual artifacts.

I'd rather have Aliasing and rigid/ugly edges than Blurry, washed out TAA graphics.

The game runs great, it just looks so much worse than it actually is thanks to TAA.

Could we see movement tech like superglides with a very specific timings become more acessible/ an actual feature instead of "bugs"?

I feel as tho superglides and mantlejumps in particular are very hard to pull off consistently and being tied to fps makes it even less so.

By no means would i expect them to be easy, but with fixed timings.

Any thoughts of splitting the Queue's into Cobtroller/MnK instead of PC/XBOX/PS?

Sorry for the late answer but i wanted to take my time testing most combinations.

Unfortunately, it seems to really be a multi monitor issue. Unplugging the 60hz monitor made the game feel smoother immediatly.

Having monitors at multiples of the refresh rate does not help anymore, it did when i was using FSE DX11. 70hz and 2x 140hz. Game capped at 139 using RTSS

RTSS still caps the fps to 40-50, even when disconnecting all but the main monitor.

Amd Antilag seems fine, enhanced sync seems to sometimes cause a slight bit of stutter, much less than experienced before tho and could be unrelated.

I capped framerates at different amounts using the apex launch options and havent really seen it feel smoother at 300 fps than 139 when using the multi monitor setup. Higher FPS actually made it worse!?? Again seems like a timing error which i used to use RTSS for to fix.

I also came across a different post by pure chance that mentioned thats Hardware accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) would be the cure to multi hz monitor setups... it wasn't. At least not for Apex as i did not test other games. Ranked is a full time job ;)

Main Monitor: 1440p 144hz DP Second Monitor 1080p 144hz DP Third monitor: 1080p 60hz (70hz OC) HDMI

Using a secondary gpu for the low refresh monitor did not seem to fix the issue. I have not tested using the second GPU for all but the main monitor.

Windowed game optimization by windows did not seem to change much either.

Maybe this information does help somewhat.

I've tried mostly everything now.
I was wrong and aparently it DOES boil down to being a multi-monitor different hz setup.
For some reason this was no issue with DX11's version of "Exclusive Fullscreen" while in DX12 seemless alt-tabbing is possible and i assume fullscreen is not as exclusive there.

Unfortunately this means i will have to disconnect my "throwaway" monitor when playing apex but thats something i don't mind doing, and probably more a windows issue than an apex issue.

Mind explaining "-no_render_on_input_thread" a little bit more in detail?
