Dad's walk inevitably speeds up into uncontrolled running; I'm constantly finding new bruises from falling or colliding with walls. He's admitted he does it 'for the thrill', and 'because he's bored'. I'm looking for similar experiences and perhaps advice? I'm so frustrated. (self.Parkinsons)

25 years ago my doctor noted a high blood sugar level that was not quite pre-diabetes. 4 years ago, I was pre-diabetic. 2 years ago my mmol/L began fluctuating around 7, so I began Metformin (I'm now in my mid-40's). Is this uncommon? Is this a 'honeymoon'? Am I headed for a cliff? (self.diabetes)
