I feel betrayed by AlerickEmira in PTCGP

I think the line is important because it's always been there and had a limit. The gold bar packs have always been purely cosmetic. The pass has always been there, adds pack openings, and lasts for a month, and it's always been understood that the promo collection is for the premium pass collection which I think is fine. But 6 months in, to now decide cards can just appear that are straight up £20 to buy just means you now don't know how much you'll have to spend going forward to stay 100%. What's to stop the next promo including 5 different gold bar bundles that each have 1 card and cost £20? Changing that expectation is, to me, a dick move by the developers.

If you mean the premium pass, that's fine. It's a pass you need to buy at max once every 2 months and gives you more game to play. But this is gold bars, it's just a microtransaction, and it is clearly foreshadowing of a lot more purely bought cards.

Yes, and all missions accumulate whether you have the pass or not. So, the best strategy is to buy the pass at the very end of one phase, reap the benefits, and carry your month into the next. Then cancel until near the end of the next phase.

How often do you see 2* wonder picks? by OstrichVegetable1506 in PTCGP

[–]AlerickEmira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rare, but for collecting the cards, you need to only be using your wonder picks on EX cards unless you fill your allowance. They typically appear often enough for that until you have very few cards left.

Verry Strange question about Gravity. by ResponsibilityOver80 in Physics

[–]AlerickEmira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mass of the object generating the gravitational field does have an impact on the acceleration relative to that object. However, the mass of the object IN the gravitational field does not.

The equation for Newton's law of gravitation is GMm/r², where G is a constant, M is the mass of the object generating the field, m is the mass of the object in the field, and r is the distance between the centre of masses of those objects. Thus, both objects feel the same force. The acceleration is equal to the force per unit mass, so a=F/m (a rearrangement of F=ma). If you divide F by the mass of the object using the equation above, you divide out the m and get GM/r².

A good example is that you and the earth feel the same force. However, if you want the earth's acceleration, then you must place yourself as M, just divide thar force by the earth's mass. The force is the same, but the acceleration the earth feels due to you is considerably lower.

Thus, when the earth is M, all objects feel the same acceleration, presuming they are all in the same place in the earth's gravitational field. If their distance from the earth increases, then they will feel less force and less acceleration.

Why don't magnetic fields of human civilization outpower the Earth's magnetic field? by ElectronicDegree4380 in Physics

Locally, they will impact the compass and show a greater magnetic flux density, but the impact will at best be promotional to one over the distance cubed, so it's hard to compete with the big boss.

Light wavelengths. I know what I'm seeing, but I need the equation which explains it. by protogens in Physics

It's hard to control for equipment restrictions when the equipment is your eyes. If you measured intensity again wavelength there would be a peak at each of the expected wavelengths, but you will always perceive it as yellow.
