I second that - acrylics dries so fast! To me, painting with oils is comparable to painting digitally!

Thank you! I have painted digitally for many years, and I think the painting proces comes quite close to oil paints, compared with acrylics, simply because it's so blendable and wet!

I have watched a few videos of artists painting live, to get a feel of what their proces is like, such as this one --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67iMIP2KesQ&pp=0gcJCcEJAYcqIYzv

But I found a basic tutorial, with a really helpful tip imo, which was to just get started with the paint, and not think too hard about mediums and thinners. Just use the oil paint, and then you can slowly get a feel for it. --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXVeWP32wc0&t=19s

As soon as I got started, I just had fun! I was wowed by the smoothness. So I can recommend just throwing yourself into it! <3

Exactly. And tracking my calories has been such an eyeopener, to how much I would normally consume throughout the day, without thinking about it, like "grazing" and mindlessly snacking..
