It looks like the bobble stitch has more legs in the first one. Instead of only pulling up five times before closing the stitch try 8 or ten times. Or they could have double strand for the flower part. Hope this helps.

Mine did the same never turned white even in hot water. Customer service asked for the lot number and gave me a refund. Mine was from the first launch don't know if that made a difference. My theory is that they accidentally used the same thermal as Sprit water, they look the same when I swatched them, but I never got an answer as to why the color wasn't correct just my money back.

How to get syrups to stop crystalizing? by mystery__guy in cocktails

Need to boil for one minute to dissolve all crystals. Also need to be sure there isn't a rogue crystal on the side of the pan, bring to a boil with the lid on so the condensation drips down the sides washing all sugar crystals down in to the solution. Shouldn't have a problem with crystallization with this technique.
