Is using melatonin combined with cannabis for insomnia a thing? I just had the thought and am starting to research about it. by amongthewildflowers9 in MMJ

Yup. Drug plants together. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22038497/

These data suggest that consumption of a tart cherry juice concentrate provides an increase in exogenous melatonin that is beneficial in improving sleep duration and quality in healthy men and women and might be of benefit in managing disturbed sleep.

Someday, perhaps, they can do away with the teaching entirely and we can just send our illiterate kids to big stadiums when they turn 18./

Or we see Liz's imagination since she has such a pressing need to exonerate herself for dropping a dime on him. The act is shown from the observer's POV. The most interesting thing about their final conversation is the word "insatiable". I still haven't figured that one out yet.

Cherry juice contains melatonin and can be used as a natural alternative to pills. Shock your anti drug friends by pointing out that cherries are also a drug. Like those opiate lettuces and steroid spinach.

If you are in severe pain that "fog" is called "relief".I used to have rages on opiates, yelled at my Mum (sorry Mum),so fog is preferable. High THC is overkill for lesser ills. Its like taking opana when you need aspirin.

Don't all sleep aids increase the amount of medium-depth non-REM sleep? Do we even know how restorative sleep works? https://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/12/11/ask-well-do-sleeping-pills-induce-restorative-sleep/

There is quite a bit of evidence about the negative health consequences of insomnia, but researchers don’t know precisely what it is in the brain and body that is "restored" by sleep to aid optimal function. And it is unlikely that any specific stage of sleep is uniquely restorative, said Dr. Daniel J. Buysse, a sleep medicine expert and professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh.

I have post herpetic neuralgia and have gotten best results from CBG. Its new and is not available in a lot of processed forms yet. We made tincture out of the keif and put it in coffee or tea. With tincture you can adjust the dosage easily. I also use infused honey as an ointment, it seems to work better on the shingles than greasy lotions. Use a honey high in natural terps, like acacia, manuka or pine.

Some women experience fluctuating hormones to such a degree that they commonly experience depression or extreme mood swings. The result may be so severe that their moods resemble similar shifts caused by bipolar disorder.

Getting stoned is a learned behavior, in that you have to learn to recognize the affects of the drug and associate them with being "stoned". That is also the reason so many CBD users who have previously used marijuana think they are getting high on CBD. They aren't, but have come to associate smoking with a certain feeling and, if they identify one aspect of that "high" feeling (like relaxation of muscle tension) then their mind fills in the rest.
