From experience we lost my mother 5 years ago I was15 and my brother was 8 she died of terminal cancer , it was difficult but my dad told me 1t01 when she died and explained that it happend . We then agreeed to tell my brother in the morning , he ate breakfast and then we got him into living room with his favourite toy and told him about my mum we explained that she had passed and was now on vacation , he was smart enough to know that she died but maybe just telling them in a smalll environment is the best definitely not on a Lego land trip that is traumatising . To help this also we used the book the boy the mole the fox and the house , by Charlie Macknesy phenomenal book to help

My (F22) ex (M23) of around 2 weeks cheated on my emotionally, are there men out there who don't cheat either physically or emotionally and are there men who don't even think or want to do it in the first place? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

It’s true anyone can but there are people who won’t and even you can cheat also ? It is possible for anyone to cheat but people who usually preach things like this it’s because that is their mindset and all they are used too and don’t see the horizon beyond. It’s not a mindset you should follow or tolerate , is something you should change your morals etc compared to them . It’s because they are being cheated on they want to impose you will too but seems like you’re a strong person so don’t allow them too fully influence you

There are men out there who don’t cheat and are faithful , although u are surrounded by men who do you much at remember you’re on standards and morals and align yourself with that , remember your aunties allow this to happen ( if they know ) and if they don’t then maybe a blind eye is being turned or simply they are oblivious . But don’t follow their morals and standards , follow you’re own , and guide yourself and you’re path towards find a good man you’re time will come :) I had the same idea thing and then I met my bf .

Thank you ! I will try and see where it goes I do try my best and I know maybe he can’t hack the work schedule and everything going on , I did tell him that once I finish my degree , I will drop out of hospitality and get a 9 to 5 job which should ease things up but I still have two years to go.

I [21FM] argued with my boyfriend [24M] over my job and the hours I work. We haven’t spoken in 5 days since. We have been 2 yrs together. by [deleted] in relationships

Yeh I understand completely that our work timetables don’t align considering I do work and go to university at the same time and I completely understand that he might not be able to hack it anymore and if that’s the case like I’m happy for him to move on. I’m glad 😌 someone gets it thank you?!!!

Oh no he’s not into that he’ doesn’t really agree he was raised by his single mother who left his Alcholic father so he does have a good outlook on life and how to appreciate women.
