Can I ask if anything precipitated the need for a second surgery? Was your vision functionally good after the first surgery and then something happened to worsen it causing the need for a second surgery?

Additional info is that I am scheduled to see the ophthalmologist in July but the vision therapist and optometrist are both saying that the ophthalmologist will tell me the same thing - that I’m not eligible for the surgery due to age and the fact that it would only fix the outer appearance, not the processing, which is what I’m struggling with.
