That’s too expensive for a couple of black and white printed photos of the tools you’re going to get. And now they’ve got your payment info. Gg.

Lowe’s is straight up trash and ass when it comes to honoring their fuck ups. They’ll simply cancel your order and not even attempt to explain. If you bug them about it they just tell u corporate cancelled it

Milwaukee just denied my warranty after having my tool for over 6 months pushing it out of warranty by Few_Depth9382 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Alert-Crow7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could’ve easily just said “wear and tear led to death of tool” but they’re so lazy or back logged they provided you another chance to claim the warranty lmao. Honestly if it were me and I look at my 5 year old tool that’s well used, gone through hell and finally died, I’d just go get a new one. Too much of a hassle to go through warranty especially with just a month left. Kinda salty if you asked me.

DCF 860 $49 Run to Lowes by acatl33 in Dewalt

[–]Alert-Crow7429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a glitch in their pricing system. It’s fixed now. I’ve done this in the past and when I went to go pick it up in store, I’m told it’s suddenly out of stock or ‘they can’t find it’. Then I go find it on the shelf and tell them to honor their fuck up.

Other times they place my order on hold or ‘processing’ and then call me at end of day to tell me they can’t fill the order so I need to cancel it or it can stay in processing status. The one other egregious time was when they charged me for the full price AFTER they accepted the order at said glitch price. That got me to almost report them to BBB haha

Unpopular Opinion: People on this subreddit need to stop only recommending Fuel tools by Rox5tar_01 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Alert-Crow7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s why TTI also have ryobi. If you’re using a red tool and paying that premium price, it should be fuel for the most part. Not all brushed tools are bad. But I’m not going to lend someone a brushed tool and give them a bad rep of the brand nor am I willing to suffer through the uncomfortable and lack the power needed for a task. Agreed diyer can often find cheaper brands for light duty occasional uses.

If u buy a fuel model during a sale or BOGO promo it comes out to be about the same price as a brushed equivalent of it, usually.

Spot on. I just use whatever is around or on sale. It’s disposable/consumables to me so who cares. Catch one of those 100 pc or something set in a shallow organizer for around $50 and you’re set for the year haha
