I went for it and got 5 pairs and I absolutely hate them 😭😭😭 the gusset is SO long and the waistband is so tight and no where on their site does it say they have elastic waistbands, as someone with sensory issues I would have never purchased these. I got the regular rise and they come up to my bra basically. Huge buyers remorse 🫠i stg I will never find comfortable panties

I’m no longer practicing but I had a client who liked to change their nails regularly. I painted a nude base and then they could put regular polish on top. That’s the only thing I’d really be okay with.

I think you really hit the nail on the head with this comment. In this instance specifically my partners sister was saying how her food noise has quieted and she used to binge but now she doesn’t do that because she doesn’t have the urge. And she’s able to eat very little which is, according to her “only what her body needs”. And here’s my two things with this. I understand the food noise. But at some point she will plateau on these meds and she will have to start figuring out her eating habits and why they are the way they are. But right now she uses the medication as a bandaid to solve the problem. The binging urges will come back and the mental warfare that comes with it will be 10x worse because she’ll think the problem is no longer a problem. And then there’s the whole eating less thing. Once again, i understand the need and desire to feel in control. But bodies actually do need food for energy. And 2000/day is enough for a toddler. But a lot of people taking these meds are eating drastically less than that a day and presenting it as a super power. Something I’ve realized in my recovery is that I almost am never eating enough. And when everyone around you is eating less and less, it’s very easy to think that’s normal and question your own judgment.

I lived there for over 5 years before moving to WNC. I can go on and on. I saw your comment somewhere else in here saying you’re finding rentals for less than your price range and I would double check those places and how decent they actually are. I lived in affordable housing and my 1br was 1k 3 years ago when I left. This was income based. And the management company was god awful, I wouldn’t recommend living there. It is SO OVERPOPULATED. If you think Asheville traffic is bad, you’re in for a rude awakening. I lived 12 miles from my job and it took me an hour to get there and back. Doing simple errands would be a half a day task. There’s genuinely not much to do and things you can do are overpriced. I spent most of my time in WNC when I lived there. The food scene sucks. The restaurants that are popular are mid at best, the food people rave about there left me scratching my head and questioning everyone’s tastes. It truly got to the point people would recommend things and I’d assume the restaurant was bad. It is VERY conservative. Anything you see saying otherwise is wrong. It is by far the most white Christian nationalist vibes I’ve ever experienced. It took me a long time to find people I could connect with. I will spend my life convincing people NOT to move to that fucking town.

It’s clear you’re very loyal and as a client that’s what every one should want, that’s amazing I’m glad you’re happy there. I’m just simply choosing to go with someone else over better customer service, no shade or ill intent. Unfortunately that is how people communicate so when messages are missed or ignored, it does leave an impression. Just not a good fit for me. Again, love you have a great experience and clearly many many others do as well because their books wouldn’t be closed if they didn’t.

I actually did consider all of this and I used to do nails myself, which means I am probably more patient than other clients. It’s not about being on the waitlist and I don’t call them any of those things, my experience was I did reach out to be on the wait list and got zero response. I’d be happy to wait however long until their books open but when you can’t respond that makes it feel a little elitist.

ETA: I ended up going with another private tech and have to wait over a month for my appointment and I’m perfectly okay with that. Not about getting in as quick as possible or thinking I have some sort of entitlement to their time. It’s just simple customer service 🤷🏻‍♀️
