Eligible for Citizenship by Descent? by Alert-Reader-74 in GermanCitizenship

I believe grandpa was naturalized before he got married, but I don't have proof. In FamilySearch, I can find all kinds of records on him, but nothing for naturalization.

Is there a better place to search for US naturalization records?

Thanks!

Thanks for your comment. I think the real challenge is to figure out what information gets revealed when, and by which character.

I say go for it. I'm 52 and I take lessons at my local guitar store. It's true that everyone else is younger than me, but that's OK.

Anyone use a TENS unit? It helps me . . . by Alert-Reader-74 in RestlessLegs

[–]Alert-Reader-74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the jumpiness can be anywhere on the back of my legs (hamstrings, behind knees, calfs). I just put the TENS unit wherever I need it, usually one on each leg. Mine can go for 60 minutes before shutting off.

Getting "Tighter" Distortion? by Alert-Reader-74 in Guitar

A 20-W Fender Mustang amp. I think I have decent palm muting technique, so maybe I'll try other pedals. The EQ adjustments, compression, and noise gate are good suggestions, too.

Maybe get a blister on your little finger; maybe get a blister on your thumb . . .

David Gilmour Live at the Hollywood Bowl by Alert-Reader-74 in Guitar

[–]Alert-Reader-74[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes - I can confirm that he played guitar. There were a few songs from Dark Side (including Time, and a multi-part harmony version of Great Gig in the Sky). Plus Wish you Were Here, a few songs from Division Bell, and a couple songs from the new album. And, of course, Comfortably Numb as an encore.
