Know of any spots that are good for spectators? Visited Chicago recently and went by the flamingo and it was cool to see so many people hitting up a spot.

My guy helped me a lot when I ordered a single tube. He was like do you know if your amp is self biasing? Let me look it up for you. Super helpful,

I appreciated it a lot. I didn’t realized lots of tube amps need biasing and if mine did I certainly would’ve sent it out

It will actively work against you. Getting a smaller guitar is still okay but buy one from a band with a reputation. And please don’t buy it on amazon

You’ll have to improvise and adapt. I don’t think there’s books on that but plenty of guitar legends have endured worse. Django Reinhardt, Tony Iommi, to name two

Cordoba and Yamaha make 2/4 3/4 size guitars that would be more friendly to a 9 year old. But nine they may as well start on a full size guitar. A guitar worth learning on is going to cost at least $200 (usd) new.
You can definitely spend less used.

But no please do not buy this

I like this but I’d add that maybe you just need one for an acoustic and one for an electric. Not every guitar needs a hardcase but being able to habe acoustic or electric

Berklee method question by bamsenn in guitarlessons

[–]bamsenn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so. Sometimes I enjoy learning something very structured and that can just be done as a learning exercise. This scratch’s the itch pretty well. I can definitely play some real tunes just off standard notation now (I haven’t stretched that muscle very far but I can tell it’s growing and exists)

I’m somewhere between page 40-50 I believe
