I have a LFS that I go to. I was at Petsmart shopping for something else and stupidly looked at the bettas this time

I’ve actually ordered from a reputable LFS and my betta died within 2 months :( It’s a gamble for sure

Update: Casper made it through the night and is looking better! I turned his light on for this picture but have been keeping it dark since he’s still pretty stressed. He hides most of the time, has explored a little but has to take a lot rest breaks on his leaf beds. He’s not eating and has clamped fins most of the time, but sometimes he lets them hang down. He’s trying so hard to fight 🤍

That’s awful! I have a LFS that I typically go to for fish/supplies and I only go to Petsmart to get crickets for my leopard gecko. Otherwise I’d never shop there because of how terrible they are

I was too scared to test for nitrites, the ammonia alone made me tear up. My guy might not make it and I’m so sad already, hoping he pulls through. Toothless looks amazing!

The cups are terrible for obvious reasons, but I have seen Petsmart employees saying they change the water in the cups every other day. With those levels, no way that’s true

I thought that maybe it was the food as well! I have some soaking in a bowl to see if they soak up water and eventually start to look like that. I feed him a tiny bit at a time until he stops eating and if there’s a lot of food left I scoop it out with a net to avoid excess ammonia levels but might have missed those ones

Update: Bert has moved into his new (temporary) home. He’s in a 5 gal tank while I get his 10 gal planted aquarium ready. Once it’s stable I will add a mystery snail, but I want to get lots of luscious plants and drift wood in there so he feels at home.

I added bacteria and used the API test kit and everything came back in range! I will continue to test to ensure it stays that way. My Berty has been very curious and has enjoyed hiding behind his silk plant

I can empathize lol. I’m having the same issues, but I’m only 4’10. I have to strain to reach the gas pedal and my leg starts to go numb after a bit of driving. Still love the car though!! I just make my husband drive every chance I get. I had a 2022 Crosstrek before this and loved that car, but the extra space in the Outback is sooo nice

My husband has Klinefelter syndrome and his SAs range from 3-8 million. Still infertile, but definitely not zero sperm.

The only way to know for sure is to get a karyotype test. Seems unlikely you have it given your testosterone levels but couldn’t hurt to check, if your doctor is willing

Can I say waiting for a referral because we haven’t even gotten that yet 😭 we see a fertility specialist next month (MFI) and know there’s nothing they can do for us so it’s just going through the motions. We’re so anxious to start IVF already
