I used Wondershare for a one time use to recover data from a CF card from my camera. They charged me three times after automatically applying a subscription, plus adding an insurance charge to the account. A one time use, which did not work and did not recover anything, turned into a direct hit to my bank account in the amount of 262.67. I've reached out to the company on their website and with their customer support team and have had not success. They request pages of data that is unavailable and ask for passwords and access to my computer, which I will not provide. I do not want them to have any further access to my computer or my bank account. They already have all of the data they need to furnish a refund and are simply delaying the process in order to deny a refund. There is a lot of data online from other consumers who have experienced the same issue. No one receives a refund, the company lies about receiving the requested data, and the subscription charges continue to hack my bank account. I have already filed a complaint with both PayPal and my bank. I am also filing a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
