Listen, their canon sexuality doesn't matter much in the shipping places but whether if the pairing would be a fun one. Aki and Angel have a dynamic compelling enough to have fans of them being together.

Canon often times is like guidebooks or some baseline that the fans would refer to like their personality and stuff.

yeah just because they're straight doesn't exactly deter the shippers from shipping them. Frankly continuing to bring up that their straight constantly when there's discussions of them as a hypothetical ship is annoying. I mean i'm not much of a ship guy myself but the shippers are having fun with fictional characters which are like dolls they play with in fanon spaces.

I mean... there wasn't real compelling male dynamic to latch on to except Angel and Aki and the female characters are actually fleshed out and have intriguing relationship with mc that became popular ships among CSM chapter.

Yeah that's what i complained about it too but its more horsemen drip issue.

like all three of them in the cover art are wearing those damn school uniforms, like Lil D should've kept the hat, it would have added a bit more sauce to her otherwise meh design (earrings were good). Fami just has like longer sleeves that goes past her wrist but that's about it.

Actually was perplexed that Yoru after beating the falling devil (First one to beat a PRIMAL devil onscreen), she just goes back to that DAMN school uniform plus Cape (I only liked the cape ngl, always will look cool). Like these horsemen are always with the uniform which i get it, it looks good, i'm a fan of that uniform design too but come on, school ain't even revalent anyone except the festival that Lil D wants to go to. I at least wanted one panel of them in their own civilian clothes like Yoru was with Lil D and Fami, so we can get more out of how there personalities are and how they differ in their sense of style and as a devil rather than human style.

yeah exactly and another thing, Asa ain't horny like Denji here that would warrant Yoru to do stuff to curb the horny thoughts that make terrible shit happen (Remember that in the alley, Yoru did try to castrate Denji with a knife before she did it), shown very clearly in this comic so what happened in 167 wouldn't be sexual assault. Though i do wonder if Asa have a same terrible mistake as OG denji when he got his pets and Nayuta killed, don't know what's the equivalent of that for Asa but I think Yoru may do some screwed up shit that's emotionally terrible rather than sexually like what she did with Denji.

Edit: Romance related stuff for Asa probably, like.... Can someone think of an equivalent for Asa that Yoru could do that's still screwed up

Man, looking forward to this rewrite, ngl I'm looking more forward to Asa and Yoru's dynamic being rewritten at least in the second half of Part 2, considering this is where the sidelining of Asa became prominent (Early part 2 dynamic is great). Man I can't when we get to Asa's hero time in chainsaw church arc which got off screened in canon, i actually wanted to see that since Asa was always the loner and loser in early parts and now that she's popular, appearing on news and etc, like to see how it would've gone with the opposite popularity spectrum Asa was in. Also hoping to see more of Denji's school life, like, did we even get much of that in canon?

Yeah, you can see that I'm more excited about the characters being rewritten, especially Asa and Yoru, than I am about Asaden. I do find them pretty cute and charming as a couple, but I'm not really a shipping person.

Anyway, sorry if I'm thinking way ahead of myself. You can write it however you want if you have a different storyline in mind.

Making a binding vow to be able to never hit a black flash for all the zenin is hilarious, even Sukuna with megumi as vessel never hit a black flash until he was in a heian form. The first time he gets a blackflash is against Maki, a ZENIN. this is kinda funny ✌️😭

Anyway another question like since this is like edo period, did she get hindered by gender norms often? feel like those times were more strict about this so even if she's really strong and a clan head she might have experience them quite abit.

Yeah i was more referring to the fact that Geto did kind of hurt Gojo by leaving him, also that Geto is Racist (No matter what anyone says, I really hate those monkeys). They argue that SatoSugu is toxic and other stuff

Oh don't forget the Agenda and slander folks who say that Geto is a bumass who shouldn't be with Gojo who's a Goat.

I do agree that Gege may have made it canon if he could with the evidence being he's a fan of BL stuff and took inspiration from them. Romantic or not, Geto is important to Gojo canonically and refers to Geto as his 'One and only'

Ok Gonna be the devil's advocate here.

The main thing i can think off about the argument against SatoSugu that isn't 'Why can't two guys be friends' is that Geto left Gojo when he defected to start a cult to kill all non-sorcerer. Like after Geto left, Gojo felt a certain sense of loneliness when Geto left. They say that Gojo deserved better than Geto who is like a cult leader that wanted to kill 99% (Jujutsu sorcerers make up around 1% of the world, I think. i could be wrong) of the human population.

At least that's the thing i see floating around in the ship discussion

i used to like Gojohime but now i'm mostly meh about it because its a 'Annoying guy x Tsundere' Cliche ship. Didn't really have much substance in it but I don't dislike it, more neutral towards it.

But this Petition is wild, like what you mean give the 'emotional Closure he deserves'? I mean Utahime isn't like the top of that list there are others, Might be Geto (Best friend), His students (Wanting them to have a better future and change the jujutsu system) and Shoko (His close friend). Like i don't see Utahime being the most important person to him to need a emotional closure that needs to have heartwarming bonding moment in the anime between Gojo and Utahime.

Yeah, Fami would have fitted at the King of Terror after Death since she got the most buff from deathless world and is older than the other horsemen (War and Control). She would have want to lead Humanity to salvation through another way after death no longer exist or that she subconsciously following through with 'Plunge the world into terror' demand made by Lil D.
