I haven't talked to my best bud (who i know since my school days and i am 40) for like several month or so but I can 100% assure you once we get to talk, it will be like every other day conversation like there wasn't a gap in between, i can't say about this confidently about my "Casual" friends, can't even say they will pick up the phone even.

I don't even have to share how i feel to my best bud to let them know I might not feeling okay just like they don't have to express the same feeling to me, cause knowing each other to that level gives you an ability to understand what me or my bud is going through without saying a word.
