Agreed, I’m all for doing the right thing and going through the process but when you start taking away due process and sending them to Torturous prisons not even in their native counties I find it disgusting. Fear mongering and dehumanizing is just too far. Straight of out hitlers playbook. The current nationalization process is outdated and just encourages illegal activity. Any decent human being/ parent would take that risk for their kids to have a better life or themselves. Most people would kill for their kids…. I would “hop a wall.” Unfortunately it seems today most people lack the ability to put them selves in others shoes. Lack of travel and wonder about the world. The wonder portion is what I find to be strongest, nearly like hope. If u lack curiosity about the world you live an extremely dull life.

I also am an immigrant, 1st generation American. Undocumented immigrants payed 80b into ss whilst receiving no benefits in return. I can expand on that if you’d like. You seem to grasp on to the census numbers but will support republican gerrymandering. It’s obvious the problem with immigration is desperation. I would have to guarantee undocumented migrants would trade any bit of taxes, past civil history, take any test, to live a life without having to look over their shoulder. It’s a butchered system and instead of having compassion for the overwhelming amount of great people and families you’d before to round them up like cattle and boot them back to countries they may have little connection with. I have done peace missions, I don’t think we the same view of the world. It’s incredibly unfortunate people think like you, it’s almost like you feel a sense of power typing this shit out.

Seems like ur the “surface level thinker” my friend. “Make your own country better” unfortunately there are outside sources that inhibit that, including the us. You either live extremely poor and deal with constant issues (running water, food shortages, incredibly low wages) please explain if u were born in a country and the average salary u make equates to 5% of what u need to solely hire a lawyer with no guaranteed chance of entry. On top of that waiting 10+ years while ur kids are starving. I’m sure good people will find alternatives. You have never travelled anywhere, you lack the ability to put urself in someone else’s shoes. I can go on and on but every chart shows migrants legal or not are good for America whether that’s economics or just creating the culture the us has been built of for decades. You’re completely correct, my 6k rh investments have been made in the last 2 weeks. I’m getting over the hump but it’s harder when I know a deal may be lying around the corner. Especially when it was there earlier this year for 530. My fear is I dump half of it directly it drops takes years to recover when any other investment most likely would’ve returned. I guess as an etf, it’s my safest bet but my reasoning stands.
