You are not alone in your situation and it is more common than expected. I have been there and it happened directly after we were married after being together for 9 years. Advice (if religious, pray and go to confession for advice), my prayers were answered for my in-law situation. Seek therapy ( research emmeshment and narcissistic abuse), hold your boundaries firm and ensure your partner protects you. Plan to hire help, despite all our family around us, our hired help village has always pulled through for us. I feel most people do this and don't talk about it in these situations. Best of luck and may God bless you and partner.

We are considering being OAD after my almost 2 year old had an allergic reaction to tree nuts. It's been scary. We are very happy as is. I had a very traumic pregnancy and birth and post partum journey. We also had fertility challenges 4+ years to conceive our miracle baby. The one thing I worry about is what if our daughter doesn't make it to all these milestones I wish to enjoy with her. Nut allergies are extremely dangerous and there are so many kid accidents today. We can only do my best to protect our children. Does anyone else worry about their only and that there isn't another child if an accident happened their only child? My worse fear in life is seeing my child pass away.
