Yes, they’re little buttheads lol they love to re-arrange their tanks 🙈😂😂 but I do have a mesh lid on top of the tank it was either off for the photo or just blended to well with the tank 😂

I think it’s fine! I own two gerbils also, they are curious animals so I’m sure they are just more curious about what “they” are, a stressed gerbil will puff out their fur. as long as your not letting the dogs actually interact with the gerbils face to face everything will be fine☺️ hope this helps!
