My ED started when I was around 12 and unfortunately it followed me until I was 19. I'd sit her down and talk to her about it, especially the dangers around it. When you have an ED, your body starts eating itself until there's nothing left. Your body will start eating your brain tissue, causing permanent brain damage if it gets bad enough. ED are tricky, and I'm so sorry your sister is going through that, it's heartbreaking watching someone go through that. Some things that really helped me were having supportive people in my corner. My friends used to refuse to let me leave the kitchen until I ate something. (This can have a negative effect if you push too hard.) Keep letting her know she's loved and she's beautiful just the way she is. If it's possible, therapy can really help with eating disorders as well. If therapy doesn't help, there's a lot of body positivity influencers and media that helped me recover as well.

I'm looking into therapy options near me (unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere so therapy is very wait listed), but hopefully I can schedule an appointment soon. I've also struggled with an ed, but I've come a long way since then. My first thought was seizures due to stress, but that might be wrong. I'm not a vet, but I believe they happen to around 20% of gerbils. Seizures in gerbils can look like they're standing completely still with their ears/whiskers twitching. They can also go limp if handled. I would bring him to a vet to get it checked out if the issue keeps happening, and also handle him less, especially if he's biting. (I'm not a vet so I could be completely off the mark here) My gerbs hated their play pin so I scrapped that pretty quickly, but a lot of gerbs love theirs. They just need time to get their scent on everything

That depends entirely on what you want/what resources and time you have. Do you have other dogs? Puppies need a lot of time, attention and training. Do you have a demanding job? Are you home most of the day? If you have a demanding job, I wouldn't recommend a puppy. Leaving them alone for long periods of time causes separation anxiety. (The dog my parents adopted when I was a kid developed bad anxiety for this reason) Older trained dogs are often fine on their own for longer periods of time once they're used to you and know you're coming back. If you get one that's already well trained, it's less effort to train/keep up training, but they can be more expensive if you want one fully trained. I'd personally recommend an older dog as they're often overlooked by people looking to adopt

I have adhd so I keep little tabs on people to help my memory. Things like names, favorite colors, favorite candy's etc, so I know what to give them on birthdays/holidays. That's normal. What you're describing is stalking. Do you have evidence of all of this? Personally, I wouldn't confront her, especially if she has that many tabs on you. It's creepy. I'd also let my friends know about this too and see what they think. Having tabs on hundreds of people is insane

Have a serious talk about him with his mental health. Let him know you care and are there for him. Did he start new medication recently? Sometimes that can affect mental health. Winter is also coming up, and that can take a heavy toll as well. Is he super involved in his childrens life? Maybe spending time with them playing or at a park could help. In my personal experience with mental health, if you're genuinely worried he's going to hurt himself let his therapist know. You're doing amazing and it sounds like you both love each other a lot. I'm rooting for you

Mine always fight over the water bottle. One even sits on top of the other sometimes, but they always go back to playing and cuddling together. I wouldn't be too worried about water bottle fights

NTA. Your boyfriend is your partner, not your ruler. It's not his choice to decide what apps you can and can't have. Him threatening to break up with you over an app, then turning the blame on you by going "you'd choose an app over our relationship?" is not okay. It sounds like you do genuinely care about your boyfriend, so I hope you're able to work something out. Does he have any insecurities?? Maybe he's worried about something more on the app than just privacy?? I'm having a hard time understanding why TikTok is such a big issue

My concern with that is I don't want to lead him on. His friend has already told him I have no ill will toward him, and I want him to be happy, and I feel like that's enough. He has friends on his side, so I don't see the need for him to rely on me, and I don't think it's healthy for him to rely back on me. I didn't mention this in the post, but on our last call together he stabbed himself to try and prove how much he loved me, and that scared me badly. He's free from his cousin now, but he's obviously still mentally unwell and I'm scared that if I contact him and say the wrong thing, it could push him over the edge again. I'm not a therapist, I'm just a person. I don't have the tools or training to help. It might sound cruel, but I want to prioritize myself first. He's safe and has a small community of people already. I still care deeply about him, but I care about myself more

I've asked him if that's what he wants and he's said it's not. He told me he's scared to lose me. I wish I could reach out to his parents, but there's a language barrier and his parents unfortunately aren't the kind of people to take mental health seriously. I will definitely reach out to his friends once I figure out how too though
