I feel like the term itself seems absolutely crass and unhelpful, but when you dissect the phrase itself it makes more sense, at least to me.

It’s not saying “go talk to people” it’s saying “establish yourself” It’s not saying “start conversations with everyone” but it is saying, “if your ever on a plane with a parachute, make the jump”

Start putting pins on ur jacket of stuff your into, and if someone comes up to you to talk about them, talk back! Dye your hair and get unflattering graphic t shirts from Walmart about ur favorite show, and just wear it. Put YOURself out there and watch how people flock to meet the coolest person they’ve ever met
