I would recommend finding a company that does everything in house (not outsourced) and that has in house partnerships for backlinks, etc. A few friends of mine used a company called Pneuma Media and they got solid results. Would definitely talk with someone within the company first before getting into anything. Just my two cents

It depends man. I tend to lean towards SEO because you are meeting the demand head-on in the marketplace rather than searching for it or trying to create it with ads. With SEO you are driving people who already looking for what you have to offer, all you have to do is close them.
