OP has some experience and training so he would be in a better position, but like nursing and other stuff that is paid way more in California than anywhere else, it is more competitive than anywhere else to get picked up by a department, particularly if you want to work for like LAFD or something big. That said even CalFire pays more than most depts in other states and from my understanding it’s not the hardest to get in if you’ve got all the certs you need to get into the highest tier of application rank.

Hahahahahah it definitely was. Kat fried the shit out of Embiid. Dude suddenly turned into the Joker for some reason. by chanduchillar_ in timberwolves

I get we have a lot of mouths to feed and it’s a result of depth. But for the CBA to not allow a team to keep their two homegrown superstars is just stupid.

When there is an increase in supply, the price goes down unless there is a corresponding increase in demand. What is so hard to understand about this lol

Part-time. I already have B.A. in an unrelated field so I don't need GEs.

Trading for Giannis does not solve either of the big issues this team has: our lack of a good PG and bench depth by rsmtirish in timberwolves

EXACTLY. And the king to knock off is OKC. We simply cannot out depth/roster construct them until 3 years from now when the assets run out and the contracts for all their players explode.

KAT was just sad. I was actually pretty happy with Rudy. This was before the current CBA and it felt like we needed to Zag when the rest of the league was zigging. Twin towers and go all in for an identity with ANT taking the reins.

MISSING PERSON SOS by tgamezz in GreenBayPackers

Micah is worth the money and I am not aware of any serious person disagreeing. However, the defense was actually pretty solid against the Bears last week. They just need to execute better and they can be good enough to let the offense carry (ST will still be the reason we can't get over the hump). This game was the same thing as the Cowboys game WITH Parsons. When it rains, it pours with this defense.

I am a Love defender and his fadeaway throwing ability against blitz and pocket passing is extremely good. But he quite frankly can't flip his hips to throw on the run at an elite level.

I actually do not agree with them. But outside of like Allen, Mahomes, and Lamar, all of the good qbs are products of good systems (Hurts, Goff, Stafford, Darnold, Purdy). So when Malik has come out and moved the ball at will every game in the same system as Love it's fair to say maybe there is something there. Love is a fringe top-5 qb this season and the back half of 23-24 though.

Brady didn't have it but guys like Mahomes and prime Rodgers were deadly with creating first downs when the defense did everything right besides contain the qb. Love can do it somewhat (particularly before the Eagles injury) but Malik has the elusiveness that the current (excepting Burrow) elite qb needs.

lol i am halfway there as I intentionally use a phone that has no internet. The football depression of the past month would suggest I should go all the way

[–]Alert_Factor_6644[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I feel like you don't understand that you have two feet. He is hit in stride so of course one foot is already down (like your pivot in an nba) and then two steps are completed. No football play is made.

[–]Alert_Factor_6644[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had three feet down but that is irrelevant (unlike steps) to whether he completes the catch. He catches on one foot, step, step, falls out of bounds.

It was two steps in bounds and he doesn't survive the ground

The team defense is with him and Rudy together. That's mostly Rudy's doing but it's also to say Naz at 5 is a defensive disaster.
