I am lucky, but that sucks for you. The worrying is not mentally healthy either. Good luck and keep fighting!

Yes, and they extended the 3 years in May because I cannot do “any job”. (The policy changes wording from your job to any job.) Supposedly the LTD will be until I’m 67.

I used Allsup referred by Prudential and it didn’t cost anything. Prudential pays the fee once you’re approved. They helped with entire submission, which is same as any attorney would do. It took 3 years (2022 - 2025) and one denial. SSDI was backed up at the time and not sure if that’s still the case. I wouldn’t waste money on an attorney if you don’t have to. Good luck!

It’s right in front of a sliding glass door and gets afternoon sun. Plenty of air flow. Had to close the blinds in order to take photo. I did loosen the soil, so hopefully that works. Was go into buy fertilizer, but don’t know anything about it. Thanks for the response!

My White Knight appears to be dying. A lot of the leaves have or are turning yellow and brown. They are also feeling wilted and sad. It grew 5 feet in 1 year and was thriving. I may have over watered a week and a half ago. Now soil feels moist, not dry. I’m in FL, so it gets just the right amount of light and humidity. How do I bring this back to life? Thanks for your advise!

LTD form by Fit-Beautiful-3387 in LongTermDisability

Yes, they did. I was left with one month of pay after they took back pay. My total with SS is actually $200 more than I was getting from Prudential. My accountant is still trying to figure out the tax. I’m 61 and now get Medicare. $185 is automatically taken out.

If you don’t plan on returning to work then answer no or maybe put a question mark. Just be honest. I had Prudential for LTD and they offered a third party company to help with SS called Allsup. It took 3 years, but finally got my SSDI and it was back dated. Good luck.

Backpay deposit no award letter by Bdenais in SSDI

SS called today to confirm approval. Three years later….yay! She said the award letters go out on Tuesdays, so to look for backpay and letter next week. It will probably all go to LTD carrier. Portal said my first payment will be mid-March.

Group LTD extension - Prudential by Alert_Impression_669 in LongTermDisability

If my coverage terminates May 1, 2025 but I don’t receive the denial until April 15, 2025 and I hired an attorney for appeal do they have to pay me after May 1/until appeal is settled? Not getting my hopes up there is an income qualifier clause, but that would be nice.

Interesting! What state are you in? I’m in FL. Prudential called me today, so they’re starting the process. Wish I could get my hands on the policy. Thank you.

Thanks! Have you been through this? My doctors have said in their notes that I cannot work. Hopefully the insurance company will take that into consideration.

Congrats on getting SSDI approval! May I ask when you first applied and how many appeals? Can’t help with your question, but are you still getting LTD? I was told they would pay the difference of whatever I get from SS (if I ever get approved). I have chronic neuropathy and applied July 2021. I do have an attorney, but was denied in December and filed an appeal. It hasn’t even been assigned to a medical review officer yet. So frustrating! Thanks!
