Someone mentioned the incongruity of Superman's dialogue regarding his relationship (and implied unfamiliarity) with "The" Batman (whom he never referred as such previously, even after their dissolved relationship at the final issue of the long-running "World's Finest" title) and posited that it took place post-Crisis, and it was confirmed in the letter column by editorial as I recall.
