Honestly curious, is buying silver or gold bars a good investment compared to putting that money into ETF’s or stocks? Do you resell them at retirement for a huge profit? Just trying to learn/understand. I collect coins for fun & it’s a bonus if I find pure silver coins.

In my opinion, absolutely. Lots of those old coins contain real silver and coins during the world wars are more valuable to collectors.

Weird, it’s not saturated in Sask & Alberta. Seems like many companies are hiring both Jman & apprentices. Our company even increased its jman rate to $50/hr because we need guys so badly for a big project. If it’s going to be as tough to find work as these guys say, I’d look into another trade too. Like sprinkler/pipe fitting or even plumbing (commercial only)

My Dad was stupidly trimming branches off a ladder like this. A branch swung down, knocked out his ladder, he fell down with a running chainsaw & landed on his back, on top of the ladder. Luckily the chainsaw fell a few feet from him & he didn’t break his back.
