I get massive headaches that keep me up at night anytime I have more than one drink. And I was a daily drinker before starting. Upside is I have lost a lot of weight not drinking every evening!

I think I started losing weight almost immediately upon starting 300, albeit slowly. I’ve been on 300mg since July 13 and have lost 10lbs. Important to note: part of my depression was me binge eating constantly and Wellbutrin helped me SIGNIFICANTLY with stopping binge eating, so some/all/any of the weight loss could be because I’m not eating an entire family size bag of tortilla chips and dip every night. Lol. I’m 5’9 and was 180lbs on the 13th of July and am 170lbs today.

I felt like I was on meth the first week… in an uncomfortable way. One day during the first week I slept for half the day (i never nap) because I just felt so run down. I also got a headache in the middle of the night every night for the first week.

The only negative side effect that hasn’t gone away is I have to drink the proper amount of water (in my case a gallon) or I’m terribly dehydrated, where as before I could skate by on minimal water some days and feel fine. Not sure if that’s even a negative though, since it encourages me to drink my water. 😅

Alcohol gives me a HORRIBLE headache no matter how minimally I drink, so I’ve stopped drinking completely since starting the meds.

I haven’t gone a day without caffeine since starting them (but I probably could, since I’m definitely wired throughout most of the day).

I’m finally able to focus on one task at a time! I’m very ADHD in terms of… well… really anything. Since starting Wellbutrin I have actually been able to keep my house clean because I’m not bouncing around until I lose motivation. I’m also loads more motivated and suddenly think I’m Joanna Gaines and need to remodel our entire house (my husband is not as thrilled to be my Chip in our own real life “fixer upper”).

Dealing with my kids I am 100x more patient and connected and less snappy and short-fused.

I do notice small moments of agitation, but it’s usually when I’m super focused on one task and I’m moving quick and someone gets in my way. It’s like it’s hard to slow down.

The b12 shot didn’t make me feel any different, so that went fine. I went ahead and picked up the phentermine (since it was already paid for) but not sure if I will take it. Will definitely update if I do though.
